NT would be fifth seed based on current rpi's. 9 San Diego St 30-2 last year record 18 St Mary 26-8 34 Arizona St 20-11 39 Oklahoma 19-12 78 NT 20-11 129 Temple 14-17 223 Hawaii 17-13 263 Seattle 14-5 Probably as high as NT has been rpi rated in a long time, but ranked below both WKU and La Tech. I can understand WKU with Bassy coming back, but why La Tech. They only have two starters returning and nether anywhere close to NT's returning CUSA poy, Hamlet. Anyway this should be a great way to open the season, NT could definitely make some noise in this tournament.3 points

You know Javion knows this. He’s already blatantly said, “I’m getting drafted from North Texas”. Outplaying Cunningham will put that plan into overdrive.3 points

Surprised they're not changing their logo to a potato and keep their name Redskins.3 points

May God continue to bless the USA. God of our weary years,God of our silent tears,Thou who has brought us thus far on the way;Thou who has by Thy mightLed us into the light,Keep us forever in the path, we pray.Lest our feet stray from the places, our God, where we met Thee,Lest, our hearts drunk with the wine of the world, we forget Thee;Shadowed beneath Thy hand,May we forever stand,True to our God,True to our native land. that seems silly. do you ever feel like there should be some sort of mechanism for you and your co-workers to organize a collective idea of job expectations, hours, compensation that would help reduce or even completely prevent these kind of situations...like, something that could help bring more parity in the labor force / management dynamic through some kinda uniform voice for the workers?2 points

This may be bad for football, but is not really bad news in the big scheme of things. It seems to indicate that COVID has gotten seriously widespread at this point yet our hospitals are not even close to being overrun. If you're not immunocompromised in some way (due to age or other factor) it isn't really a big deal.2 points

Great hands. That last TD catch against UTEP was a thing of beauty. He made a difficult catch look very easy.1 point

Sorry for the confusion on the sentence about the DB's. I only meant Rucker would have to sit out this year. Mooney is great, don't get me wrong, but when picking offensive players I tend to think of every down guys.1 point

As I have said numerous times, I do expect the deaths to rise again. But every day that the trend is delayed makes me hopeful that we're not gonna get a tsunami. The rolling death rate rose on the 2nd and I thought that might indeed be the start of the upward trend that is inevitable. Today brought that number down again, so once more the data for this week is more or less downward (four days decreasing, two increasing). It seems close to bottoming out obviously and we'll get the rise back in deaths, but when exactly that will be or how bad it's going to get I am not gonna pretend to guess. I'm still surprised it has yet to happen. The infection seven day rolling average has increased every day since June 10th, which is more than enough time for the anticipated uptick in deaths to start to show up. Seven day rolling averages for death count: 6/27 - 594 6/28 - 596 6/29 - 595 6/30 - 581 7/1 - 560 7/2 - 564 7/3 - 5581 point

He obviously had the technique and the footwork to be able to be that highly rated. That much weight just might earn him a starting job as a true. I am really curious about what the new offensive line coach will mean to this year's team.1 point

I thought the article was ok, it could have obviously been better. However, unfortunately any publicity for G5's is needed and welcome. Why would Graddie have to sit out a year? Mooney is almost universally hailed as the best kicker returning to CUSA. He was 16 of 20 field goals. Why do you think he does not deserve to be on this list?1 point

I love the way he is talking. Sounds like he’s going into the year with a ton of clarity about what he wants to do. Love having guys like that leading.1 point

One of our higher-rated signees from 2020’s class is from Las Vegas. I don’t care if they’re going to Timbuktu, if the coaches feel like they have a shot, offer! Worst that can happen is, they say ‘no’.1 point

do you think "Redskin" is a pejorative against black people? and yes, racism is rampant and institutionalized in our country and denying it; becoming defensive rather than listening and learning about it does nothing but continue to perpetuate that racism.1 point

If you really look at it, these workouts are helping. Players are getting tested and of course some will have it, but it’s better than having it for a while and not knowing. Obviously is bad, but better knowing and not spreading. #Aune20201 point

I don't think a certain someone many of you have praised as a record setting quarterback, would be too pleased to see the dismissive remarks in this thread. This is something many tribes have pushed for decades. Even if he isn't bothered by it, many Native Americans are and are the only ones whose opinions matter on this subject. This isn't comparable to the Seminoles, Utes, Illini or Chippewas, who all have the consent and approval of the respective tribes they get the nicknames from. Redskins always has been and will be a slur and again, enough tribes find it problematic enough to want it changed. If it were ANY other race, it would have been changed a long time agi. Of course, you guys feel brave enough to say these things behind an anonymous message board but never to anyone's face.0 points

Bottoming out means reaching the lowest point....hence it'll start rising again. How is that so hard to understand? I fully expected 250K dead. Just not sure when or where the bottom will be before we go back up. Been waiting for awhile now - I thought it was gonna be around 6-8 hundred daily deaths. The lower it gets before we go back up, hopefully implies the lower the peak will be when it does in fact go back up.0 points

Exactly half way through this year and we are on pace for 250k dead from this bottoming out pandemic.0 points

One of the most misleading named threads ever. Where the AAC headquarters makes no difference to me. Other than this influx of entities moving to Texas might prove to be a liability in the future, at least for conservatives. .0 points

To add to the above: Three more men linked to white supremacist group arrested in Georgia https://www.foxnews.com/us/more-arrests-white-supremacist-group-georgia Unlike other extremist groups, The Base isn't focused on propaganda. Instead, it aims to bring together skilled white supremacists to train for acts of violence. In encrypted chat rooms, members have discussed committing acts of violence against Jews, African-Americans, ways to make improvised explosive devices and the desire to create a white "ethno-state", according to the FBI.-1 points

Thank you Donald Trump for dividing our country better than any President we have ever had. He will lie when the truth would serve him better. He will use lies, misinformation and force to get his way. I can disagree on policy matters but his lies, deceit, the hypocrisy, and the theft of our tax dollars for his private business is unparalleled. Why won't he show us his income taxes? Why does he challenge any attempt at transparency. HIs goal is to divide and conquer. This is America, the United States, not some personal bobble of Donalds to be used for HIS benefit or that of his beloved daughter. Every inspector general that has tried to do their job has been removed. Let us use the same standard that Donald set for Obama, for Donald. Easy enough no more or no less. See how long that will last. Wake up people your Great Leader is a sham, a common huckster. I admire Sen Romney, I may not always agree with him but he has convictions and stands for them unlike the current temporary occupant of the White House. GO MEAN GREEN!!! WIN GAMES!!!-1 points
