I think Mason learned more from Graham Harrell than Seth when it comes to speaking. He isn't speaking as fast a Harrell does but it's really close.

On a different note, my observations from last night game were just how much talent they had on the field. The NFL lite programs are just minor leagues at this point. LSU and NDSU won national championships again. And nobody in the G5 were able to qualify for that title—again...so glad we get their P5 crumbs and that Memphis got the right to get beat by Penn State in the Cotton Bowl!! Awesomeness!!

Sources close to GMG.com have confirmed a name to watch out for is OU DL coach Calvin Thibodeaux. Not saying a signing is imminent. But there is mutual interest. It all depends if Grinch wants to bring in his own DL coach. Calvin is very familiar with both Seth and New DC Clint Bowen. He worked under Clint for a season while they both were at Kansas. Just something to watch.

Im just thinking we don’t need Hayes to run 40 yards, we need him to run 7 to 10 and fill the space in front of him. He takes good angles and wraps his man up after contact and brings him down. He’s an excellent tackler and reminds me of Chris Hurd and Kenny Buyers. As for Bartis,...Quick off the ball, quick snaps, quick feet, great base, seems to love contact. He has everything you could ask for but an inch or two in height. I’ve watched height get Mason Fine nearly killed for 4 straight years so I don’t know what else to say???? Rick

Now that I think about it, I've got some Shrine Bowl questions... Who pays for the players travel, room and meals ? How long is the player at the Shrine Bowl event ? Does the University provide the player with all his equipment or just the helmet ? Does the University send any support staff with the player ? Does the player get paid ?

The basketball version of the coaches radio show starts the season at noon, Monday, January 6 at Rudy's. Dave Barnett announced this on December 3 broadcast and some folks in loge seats confirmed last night.

I hate that he got Benford’d, but definitely Tony Mitchell for me. His freshman season was my freshman year, and that was an amazing student basketball experience watching him dunk on dudes then swat their shot into the stands.
