  3. I know this is not a favorite list but I would call an audible and select Riley Dodge ahead of Mason Fine. I would go with the better threat to take it to the house, on any play, and select Jeffrey Wilson ahead of Lance Dunbar. (very very close) Didn't leave on the best of circumstances but I would insert Jaylen Guyton & Carlos Harris ahead of others. I like John Shorter in the secondary and Brandon Akpunku ahead of Garner. I know Dodge against Fine is going against the grain but I'm brave enough. (my list is more of a who would I prefer to go win a championship)

  4. They haven't updated the rosters for this year yet, because they haven't gotten coaches and split the players yet, so there's not an East and West team at this current time.

  10. Seems as though we play WKU on the road 75% of the time. Feels like they beat us 90% of the time no matter where we play. Huge game to start league action.

  14. https://247sports.com/college/north-texas/Season/2012-Football/Commits/ This class really comes to mind. We signed 4 private school kids. I only remember Malik Dilonga being somewhat productive. Another that comes to mind is that DE from Grapevine Faith. I think he ended up quitting the team. I am all for using the grad transfer portal, I just hope the kids end up being productive.

  18. Yeah, they were horrible. However, not sure a private school kid that couldn't make the depth chart at a bottom feeder of the Big 10 will help either.

  29. Recruited by North Texas Committed to Arizona State Flipped to Oklahoma from ASU prior to signing in 2019. Now......per OUDaily...... OU football: Safety Ty DeArman enters NCAA Transfer Portal, per report http://www.oudaily.com/sports/ou-football-safety-ty-dearman-enters-ncaa-transfer-portal-per/article_1e68dcba-2bf7-11ea-b934-8b0ad0c21e1b.html Tough, aggressive player. Would probably benefit from a season at a juco and then have three seasons remaining to play FBS ball.

  30. Holmes. The timing of the offer was suspect given that we seemed to be full on DBs already after Upton Stout committed/signed and we only have a few spots left. Of those spots there is very little chance any of them go to positions other than o-line, d-line, and QB. Plus we havenโ€™t seen any offers go out since signing day. It seems the recruiting we have been doing has been of the stealth variety and not โ€œyeah, go ahead and announce on twitter only to have FCS schools in your top 5 instead of us.โ€

  34. This would have been a perfect bowl game for us in 2019: off graduation weekend, perfect sunny day, close location, 25,000 wearing Mean Green. I went to the cotton bowl and let me tell you, I canโ€™t wait to get back. Win or lose those penn state and Memphis fans partied before and after the clash. Donโ€™t rush this staff. Build it right with hungry experienced developing leadership. FAU is setting a nice bar as the beast of the east. Time to create the best in the west. GMG

  40. This is as good a shot as weโ€™ve had at them in a while. Even though we had them at home last year, we just werenโ€™t good enough offensively to really have a shot. Weโ€™re playing well and are road tested, and probably have more depth than them at the moment. Without Bassey if we can just keep their shooters like Savage and Justice under control from deep, I really like our chances. Reese likely gets Hollingsworth, as he usually gets the other teamsโ€™ top perimeter scorer. He has done great this year in that role.

Most have them as a top-25 program of all time. They recently got 5-star recruits two years in a row which is pretty incredible for a mid-major. Even short-handed, this would be a big momentum building win for us if we can pull it off.
