Let it go, the kid's not coming here. You guys sound like a bunch of jealous girlfriends that are stalking their ex's social media accounts.11 points

Guys this is just the way recruiting goes. But as of last night we are still after him. We are going against FSU and UCF.. not UTSA so you cant really blame the kid. Also he has baby Briles in his ear. Briles is a legend in stephenville still. Hang tight on this one guys. Exciting next 8 days... also for those on twitter stop tweeting at the kid for de committing. It doesn't help our chances for him to re commit.6 points

I know that some want to downplay any conference championship discussion this early. Why, I am not sure of; bad karma or something. I do think NT''s odds are getting better based on the season so far. All polls, I've seen have WKU and La Tech as the favorites, than it is usually UTEP and NT. Unfortunately. WKU has just lost their best player to injury. La Tech looks anything but invincible with a recent lose to Sam Houston. UTEP is 6-1, but all wins were at home and they lost to New Mexico St. on the road after beating them by 15 at home. NT record is misleading and based on the early schedule, I think they are in good position to challenge for a league championship.4 points

"They were trying to understand me as a player and student. They didn’t send me all that blah blah just to make me happy. I liked the honesty." Really interesting quote to read, especially when you consider it’s his second time through the recruiting process and he has heard countless pitches from dozens of college coaches to this point.4 points

I’m happy to see Riley doing well. He always gave max effort for us, his body just couldn’t take the punishment. He is an up and comer in the coaching ranks and will be snagged by a college program soon, that is if he wants to coach in college again. (Remember he was a QC coach at Texas helping out with quarterbacks and was a grad assistant at A&M working with Kingsbury)4 points

I read an article where they said they were concentrating on signing day first. So It leads me to believe it will be after.3 points

247 shows him as warm to us, Southern Miss, and FAU, and that he visited on Nov 29th. https://247sports.com/player/alvin-dempsey-46096741/3 points

Shoot that’s way too much work compared to now. Nowadays the certain “members of the community” simply rent the entire family an extremely cheap house until the player is done. Once residency is confirmed along with a clear PAPF form from his/her previous school the deal is done. Some of these “communities”,,...usually the same ones you see in the playoffs every year,... have this down to a science. The sickening thing is the UIL knows this is going on but refuses to do a thing about it. Rick3 points

I still believe that TD's biggest mistake was his loyalty to the damn coordinators he brought on board. I wish the AD, or President would have convinced him to start with experienced college coordinators. With the excitement that Dodge was creating if he had been successful ......2 points

While Mason is great, his playing days are not over, whether it be NFL, XFL, CFL, or other. I also don’t recall anyone going straight from QB1 to QB coach at the college level without at least being a grad assistant first. The thing that Riley gives us that Mason can’t is access to Texas recruits as a high school legend and someone who has connections either through himself or his father to just about every worthwhile high school coach in this state.2 points

Welcome aboard Davontae! Looking forward to seeing you terrorizing C-USA QBs for the next few years!2 points

Well...like he said, if they add another program like baseball they’ll have to add another woman’s sport...and as it stands right now, the weight room is not big enough as it is and the athletic center is below standards...so expand those first, then baseball. I’m sure we could have a baseball team but they want to do it right and give the team a solid base to start off. I mean it made sense to me.2 points

Don’t sell WKU short because of one player, albeit a star player. They recruit very well.2 points

Can't imagine what they're thinking....you know....the players that got him the SEC job2 points

Says on his twitter that he's a fall 2019 grad, so I would assume he'll be here for spring ball2 points

Congrats to Anterrious! We have 3 starting o-line spots opening up. I’m starting to think that the coaches don’t have much confidence in filling any of those spots internally. Perfect situation for a JUCO ol2 points

Regardless, did anybody see Reeder's offense from before and think that's what we got? Did anybody wonder why we didn't get that offense? I know I did. There could be any number of legitimate reasons, including players not meshing well with it. I don't know.2 points

I was told that a lot of coaches using their passes have to go to the gate to get them and I don’t think they count yet. Also one told me he can’t wear an OU shirt even if they are an OU fan or coached Devion.1 point

So because one guy said it on a podcast as second hand knowledge from an unnamed source it makes it fact these days?1 point

I could see them promoting Mainord and hiring another WR coach. I also could see them hiring Koonz to be DC. What do I know though, I am just a cubicle warrior.1 point

Somebody like...... “Under OC, the offense averaged 7.46 yards per play, which was second in the nation, and ran the ball for 6.0 yards a carry, which ranked third in the country. this school was one of just 11 schools in the nation that averaged more than 200 yards rushing (229.7) and 250 yards passing (266.0). They rushed for over 200 yards eight times and had over 500 yards of total offense in four games, including 704 yards in a 66-31 win over an 8-5 P5 school who beat a Big10 school in their bowl game.”1 point
