I want to walk out of Apogee feeling better about the team.That's all. I want Mason to look like Mason, our D to build off the last 3 quarters from last week, the OC to call a good game, Siggers to continue in beast mode and for us to minimize the mental mistakes. Is that too much to ask? It's all still in front of us. If we look like we know we can Saturday...it makes the game vs Houston SOO much more interesting....I'll feel like we have a chance. GO MEAN GREEN!

Other than that, well, nothing. Its certainly an important conference game as all conference games are, and its certainly entertaining to watch UTSA get dismantled, but I can't see how this series can constitute the 'Our Bitter Rival" phrase.

You forget NT has had that as a member of 1aa. Few cared at all about that mighty 1aa championship . If G5 became a real classification and had a championship playoff, it would be exactly the same as what NT had as a 1aa team. The general football fan played little attention to the 1aa playoffs and NT's attendance in those days was pitiful.

I know we follow every game religiously but I think the average student goes to the home games and if we win and they have a good time they’re going to come back regardless of what happened while we were on the road. Feels like our D could (COULD) be designed to have some success against him. If he's not hitting receivers and our corners can hold up...our linebacker speed can be the difference.

They are banged up and linebacker. Will have to play ball control with our running game and screens and tight end passes. Have to keep them off the field. Very dangerous offense.

No anger, just disappointment. There is nobody to have a rivalry with? They're not there supporting their team any longer. The SMU week, and even the Abiline Christian game week were bull of banter and barbs from rival fans from both schools. Even Cal had some light verbal jousting leading up to the game. For UTSA there's just nothing there. We may joke about them, but there is no interaction, no taunting, and nothing that remotely resembles rivalry.

Just Stop Brett..they are a conference opponent. Nothing more, nothing less.
