Was just watching a channel 4 segment on college game day tomorrow in Ft. Worth. Rece Davis, the host of college gameday specifically mentioned that he hopes to see lots of North Texas fans in order to get some Mason Fine talk on the show....

Watching some of these P5 QB's it should really make everyone appreciate what we have in Mason.

There is a great story - with two color pictures - on the front page of today's Ft. Worth Star-Telegram sports section. Someone smarter than me can post a link to it. The story is well written and gives some great publicity to Mason and UNT.

Earlier this week in their roll call of upcoming local/ regional games this weekend they didn’t even mention ours. Honestly, I think Froggy’ville feels left out of all this national publicity Mason Fine & the Mean Green have been getting ,ie, Coach SL on Jim Rome Show, Austin American-Statesman’s almost full page feature on “possible Heisman candidate” M. Fine, the Washington Post feature on Mason Fine & on & on... Oh yeah, TCU thinks they even got Parker County sewed up but here’s one buddy of mine they don’t. This pic taken 45 minutes ago. GMG!

3/4 of a full page article in the Austin American Statesman today on our very own Mason Fine. No one gets in the Statesman unless they are UT or Big 12 related. The fact Mason has essentially a whole page write up in the Statesman is almost one of those “we have arrived moments”.

Maybe I just don’t understand the affinity for playing Army. They’re a middling G5 team with a little prestige for being a service academy. Best case you win and get no credit for it. Oh and they played like a bunch of dirtbags the last couple of matchups. Go Navy.

At the time I'm typing this the six CUSA teams that are playing/have played have accumulated a point differential of -35, including 3 FCS matchups. And we still have LaTech/Texas and MTSU/Michigan tonight to go. We really need some teams to step up in non-conference. Badly.

This is actually marked improvement for FSU. Boise State would have beaten them by 20 last year.
