A coach cussing you is one thing. Lord knows I've had my share of butt chewings by many a coach. My problems with this stupid chant are the following: 1. It is disrespectful towards our university. 2. It is yelling MF'er at the top of their lungs during our fight song. It is easy to tell what is being said from across Apogee. 3. My youngest looking up and clarifying what he heard and then asking why they would say that about their school. 4. It is classless. Don't compare us to LSU. Their fans are the worst in college football and nothing to aspire to be. 5. We are North Texas and we are better than that.

I made my reservations. So trip is set. I usually like good seats but may enjoy our section best wherever they have us. Sure their will be a tailgate. But regardless should be try and pregame at a close by local bar. I am interested in the patio at a few places. The one at the Graduate hotel has been recommend.

I know UNT Athletics doesn't get a great ROI (as in views) on a lot of their social media stuff but I hope they continue to put out quality stuff. It keeps people engaged with athletics and makes us look bigger time. Kudos to all involved with our social media presence.

Approaching my mid 50's, but I was taught by my parents how to act in public. As my 91 year old mother still says, "You aren't too old or too big to be pulled across my lap!" 🤣 I have yet to see one good reason as to why this should be acceptable.

You are going to be very happy - as long as there is no rain in the forecast. If the forecast holds up you will see 25K plus. Opening at home draws well. Playing a Texas team draws well. Playing a team 2 1/2 hours away draws well. ACU travels to Denton in good numbers. All of the hype around this team will draw well. A 6:30 start draws well.

Funny tweet.... But it points to a catch 22 with CUSA. The parity (or parody) is fun to watch in conference. However, it will keep the conference out of the NY6 conversation... What's better for CUSA? A deep conference? Or a top heavy one that puts the champ in the national spotlight? The same argument is being made about the Big 12 vs the SEC and getting in the playoff. The SEC is top heavy where the Big 12 is deep. It will probably keep the Big 12 champ out of the playoff this year... What say you?

Me and 6 others are making the trip. Plans are not final but it is starting to look like Wednesday - Really undecided I arrive mid day and am thinking one of two options. Arrive and head down to Monterrey for Dinner (went to language school there in the Army) head down to Carmel for a pub crawl. Get a hotel there. Drive up US-1 (PCH) to SF the next morning. Get a hotel in Sonoma and drink copious amounts of wine. Main drawback is it is a bunch of dudes... Thursday - Muir Woods and/or Point Reyes National Seashore. (This is the one healthy day) Hotel near Fisherman's Wharf. Friday - Do the tourist crap that is San Francisco. Take in a Giants Game. Punish Liver for bad behavior. Saturday - Put some black tape over my check liver light and head out to tailgate and watch the Mean Green whoop up on some Bears. After the game troll the Berkeley residents! Sunday - try to remember how I got back to the hotel, eat a greasy meal and drink water (for the first time in the week) Head to the airport for my way too early flight.

Not sure why anyone would chant this. This is now commonplace language and has no shock value. It just demonstrates a lack of imagination. Anyone that thinks this is an appropriate yell at a football or for that matter anywhere else, is just too immature to be worried about anyone's else's opinions.
