  3. a) I don't think North Texas needs to play these type games anymore, and b) If we do, the starting price should be $2 million. 6 for Heisman GO MEAN GREEN

  9. A good highlight video for both sides last year against Baylor. We worked on our secondary and run defense. One defensive weakness has been our tackling as you can see. Our DL and LB core do pretty well. If our OL can hold up, look for Billy to break a few runs. He, James and White make for a stout running trio. Fink is our best slot receiver, but we have a lot of targets and will probably spread the passes around. https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=W3tdiSCJ3uA

  10. Lose to ACU and a win against UH means nothing. It will be seen as either “they were looking ahead” or “UH obviously wasn’t that good...they lost to a team that couldn’t beat Abilene Christian”

  11. If fans are there to watch the game, then why is there a need for WiFi services? It is sad to look in the stands and everyone is staring down at their phones.

  17. They open 2 hours before kickoff, and I usually get there around that time to avoid the crowd. After about an hour, a head over to the stadium and watch the warm-ups. It's makes for a longer day but no stress or crowds this way, so that's an easy choice for me.

  18. There were discussions last year about opening it back up after the games during the postgame radio show. It would be even better if the postgame show could be hosted there. This would be an excellent way to boost involvement for the alumni association, and fans could spend meaningful time while waiting for traffic to clear.

  19. Most of us purple people are pretty good. I am probably the worst of them 😉 I promised Momma that I would be good for the game though! Honestly, except for an outlier or two, I don't think any of us expect an upset. We do think we can give UNT and the fans a good game though. We kept the Baylor 1st string in pretty much the whole game. I loved the Baylor fans. We sat right in the middle of them on their side and had a great time. I will be on the UNT home side this year as well. I'll do better if I am not next to the students.

  23. Great article. I watched that state final and I can tell you with confidence, Deonte Simpson has the goods to make an impact here. I have never seen Ward play, but I hope these two are both successful.

  25. Admittedly, I was also very frustrated with Harrell's offense last season. Seemed too vanilla at times. And you could almost always count on being stuffed on any short yardage situations. Reeder sounds creative and like he is ready to mix things up. I'm stoked about the potential for the offense this season

  27. Sounds like Littrell may have been a little unhappy with Harrell's offense. I am really curious to see how he pans out at USC. Back on topic, I think Reeder is the off-season "signing" that will have the greatest impact this year. Really looking forward to watching this offense.

  28. My recommendation would be to have good WiFi for Mean Green Club members only. Even at the $25 level you would get a members-only network inside the stadium. Have an even better one in the Club for those members. Everyone else battles for broadband on their phone networks. Might add 500 new members at the low level? Low-level members help our numbers and can lead to higher donations later.

  32. Wear green shirts. Don't wear grey shirts. Don't wear white shirts. Don't wear pink shirts. Don't wear a shirt just because it says "North Texas" or "Mean Green" on the front. On television nobody can read what your shirt says but they can see that it's green. Wear a green shirt. Wear a green shirt. Wear a green shirt. As in Mean Green. Wear a green shirt. 6 for Heisman GO MEAN GREEN (shirt)

  35. My preference would be to avoid playing both every year. OOC games are an opportunity to spread our brand and establish a growing perception. Taking up two OOC spots every year to beat two hyper-local teams....every year....seems very limiting IMO. Alternate them every other year.
