Agree with all of that. The game just seems like a tossup. Maybe I'm overrating SMU and I have to get the 2nd half of last season out of my mind...They did upgrade their QB, are in Dykes's system now and we're playing there. To your point...if we don't beat SMU...we're probably not going to beat Cal. But I really want to go into the Houston game at least 3-1. (we have a good chance to be 4-0. 3-1 just looks so much better than 2-2 going into a tough game. I don't want to have to beat Houston to avoid being under .500) It just feels like that's the key game and will show what this team is made of. We win...we're headed toward a sellout against Houston with a good record. We lose...we could be staring at under .500 going to Hattiesburg.

Well...if a miracle occurs and Houston some how beats OU...I just don't see how Apogee want sell out. Course that also requires NT to take care of their business too.

As much as I wanted this to be ready for the start of fall practice... I am glad that this current team will get to use this facility at least some this season. They will really get to see what their hard work has produced

I’m gonna step away from the Houston pissing contest and just say that both QBs are damn fine and we’re lucky to have who we have. This is a freaking amazing matchup at that position, and probably one of the best ones we will see in all of CFB this season. I hope the game is played with zero injuries under snap. It would totally kill the vibe of the game if either squad loses their starter. I mean that sincerely for King, because when we whoop your butts I want to be able to say y’all were at full strength when it happens.

Splitting hairs here, but hey, it's the offseason! Is it a grammar error? From Merriam Webster: So if they're treating the word itself in a singular manner (like all of these things equals 1 requirement), then it would be "is". Even if there are multiple criteria within, and not one single criterion. Like you would say, "the football team is very good", even though there are multiple players that make up the singular team.

I don't want to downplay ACU.. Never put down an opponent. But I think our pivotal game is SMU, which you already talked about. Think about what the beat down SMU took last year by us, did to our team's mentality. You could argue that that built our confidence up to destroy Arkansas.

Not to be a killjoy but if we don't beat SMU, we're not top 75. Two years ago against SMU I hoped to win. Last year I thought we'd win This year I expect to win.

Of all our guys this year, I thought he had the best chance to get drafted. Don't think this surprises many of us though. Despite the drops, we know his quality and how many times he straight up burned opposing DB's.

It is the White House's fault. The last 4 Baltimore mayors were ousted for being corrupt. The town has a history of this. It is fact, not racism. While we are on this, let's throw Puerto Rico in the mix. Trump was criticized by their governor for not caring and not sending enough aid post hurricane. Now, two years later, Trump's comments were right on target when he stated that they were provided enough aid, and Rosello' is resigning. The true test will be when his replacement is determined and the amount of help the federal government will give to right the ship. The best depiction of Trump is the one above that state he acts like a four year old and throws his toy at those that criticize him.

I'm not sure that article does what it's supposed to do. It says facts don't back up Trumps rhetoric then it lists facts that basically do. It seems "infested" is the big sticking point. Elijah Cummings himself described Baltimore as "drug infested" several years ago. But even more...it shows how the rich in his district are living well while the poor are not. That's a huge divide. All under Rep Cummings leadership. That article paints a picture of something he's supposed to be against. He's been representing the people of his district for a long time. If the rich white people are happy with him and keep voting him in....and the poor black folks of Baltimore keep getting screwed...seems that Rep. Cummings is part of the problem when it comes to the issues of a large part of his district. So Rep. Cummings can keep taking his big donations from the unions while telling half of his constituency whose fault it is they're poor. But at some point he has to offer a solution right? If he can't, what's he doing for his $200K salary? He's only been their representative for 20+ years. Interesting fact: Baltimore's murder rate is double the rate of Guatemala....a country that many anti Trump folks just said was too dangerous for people to seek asylum. But maybe there's a silver lining here for a large part of Baltimore. Kendall Briles is probably one of the brightest offensive minds in college football, and that will show (again) in Tallahassee this year. Losing him, even though you're gaining a fantastic HC/system in Holgorsen, will show in King's stats. Of course, King's wheels are more like Pat White's than Will Grier's, so he could certainly be a 1000+ yard rusher in Holgorsen's offense, while seeing his passing numbers fall sharply. Coach Littrell has said the offensive system was his under Harrell & will remain his under Reeder, except that Reeder likes to use that Briles-type "hyper fast offense". So Fine's already-awesome numbers could possibly explode this year. I'm still sticking with Fine. EDIT: Oops, Pat White was in Rich Rod's offense, not Holgorsen's. So King may actually see his rushing #'s DECREASE.

If leaving the reliefs at the Fouts location was the intent all along, this is what should have been done. Build a nice monument, somewhere in the vicinity of Fouts, with an appropriate inscription as to the history of Fouts Field, surrounded by a water fountain feature made of and incorporating the stainless steel men’s urinals laid out to hold the flowing water from the fountain. Bam! Everyone’s happy!

I hope to see Bryce healthy this year, and not just because he plays a position of need. This kid has been through a lot and deserves one full year of his college career to play and enjoy the experience.
