So 2 straight undefeated seasons to include a bowl win against the team that beat both teams that played in the National Championship game? Sure. Ok. Whatever.9 points

This morning while taking a shower I found out something that many may not be aware of... You ready??? Water does not cause irreparable harm to humans. I’m told some people even submerge themselves in it for fun...call it swimming or something I think.7 points

The team deserved 100x the fan support then they got for the game. The team also deserved to have competent officials for the game.5 points

Buckshot is a good QB. Buckshot can throw it anywhere. Buckshot has great accuracy. Buckshot is a good leader. Buckshot has a solid chance of being drafted. Did I mention BUCKSHOT5 points

23 point win against the strongest defense we've faced and likely the strongest in the conference. 6-1 !!!!5 points

The Mean Green defense came through in a BIG way today. Dragging the offense along for the first half of the game as they spun their wheels. Forcing TOs, getting key 3rd down & 4th down stops, & keeping energy up all game. If the offense can match the defense’s intensity next week, we win going away. Great game D!!4 points

We won 30-7 in a game that was delayed by severe weather. If you're complaining about a damn thing, you're doing it wrong. #GMG4 points

A quick plug for my sister’s band tomorrow. The “Breast Cancer Can Stick It Band” will be playing 11am - 12:30pm tomorrow at the Alumni Pavilion before the game against Southern Miss. My sister is a breast cancer survivor, the band’s drummer, and an alum from the UNT College of Music. One or two of the other band members are also alums. This may turn out to be a great spot to get out of the rain as well. https://www.facebook.com/thebreastcancercanstickitband/4 points

Can we send the CUSA refs back to PEE WEE football and pick up some good middle school officials. Some terrible calls and when we learn about the unsportsmanlike celebrations. I saw the one on the sack and it was a bad call, not near the sacked qb and they did high five in a different way. Gave SM a first down instead of a sack for a big loss. Go to the sidelines and do the celebrating. The run for a loss on SM and no whistles were blown and the running back kept trying to run near the goal line. So if he would have broken loose and ran for 20 yards the play would not be called back. The running back was trying to keep the play going and no whistle was blown until we tackle him.3 points

6-1, bowl eligible, and not a single rain drop on their heads all game long. I can only hope they get the crowd they deserve at Homecoming3 points

Refs were definitely a tad "off" their game TODAY. Note: I am trying to stay civil with my comments here. They spotted the ball incorrectly a minimum of three times...clearly bad spots, they missed several USM holding calls, Fine was hit late, I am calling "you know what" on the mystery forward pass fumble ( and you did note that they reviewed the play where UNT stripped the ball from the USM runner AND the play where the UNT runner was clearly down) and they could have called a personal foul against USM on that "fumble" play as well, but did not. Did I miss anything? But, better to be "politely questioning" the refs after a win than a loss... one-hundred percent better!3 points

Sometimes I think this board is more disappointed with attendance than happy with a victory.3 points

UAB's defense: #1 in pass defense in CUSA (134.8 yds per game... good lord), #6 in Rushing defense in CUSA (149. 0 yds per game) UAB's offense: #11 in pass offense in CUSA (202.7 yards per game), #2 in rushing offense (232.7 yds per game) We rank 3rd in rushing defense so I like that aspect of our defense overtaking their offense buuuut they also have the #1 pass defense and we have the #1 pass offense... I think we'll need to get the run game going like we did today but earlier in the game. Hopefully that will set up the passing game. You’re finding reasons to say we can beat these guys. I hope our coaches are finding reasons to respect the next opponent3 points

I’m convinced that someone’s kid is running the graphics for this game. No correct down and distance, it said we were in the 4th OT earlier and after the TD it flashed “timeout”. Good stuff3 points

Tune into KNTU 88.1 to follow details as they progress. https://www.kntu.com/ update: KNTU just stated 1:35 kickoff.3 points

I get that. However I don't think rain is a competitive disadvantage for UNT, as USM needs to pass too, they haven't really shown a capacity to run this season.3 points

Thinking about going to the game today? Ask yourself was it better to watch awful UNT teams in good weather or is better to watch a good UNT team in bad weather?3 points

Looking bad for kickoff but hopefully this pushes past after about a quarter. My daughter, 14, made clear on Thursday that rain wasn’t going to stop her from coming. So I guess I’ll be there to. 🙂3 points

Maybe, but Alabama plays Arkie St., LaLa, and The Citadel this year with seven home games and one neutral site. They're basically a Sun Belt team when not playing in conference and play a whopping four games on the road. So wherein G5s are trying to make their schedules as good RPI-wise as possible, what's their excuse?3 points

I'm still pissed off at Dodge not going for the field goal just before halftime of that Ohio game in a monsoon. Kicker was having a pretty good night, but not getting any points put us into overtime, when we lost. Never been so rained on.3 points

16 teams with every conference champion getting in plus a handful of at large. This way theoretically everyone has a chance... just like BB. And then it is no longer a monopoly of the highest awards. Just as no one complains of BB being a monopoly. Those majoritively speaking, the power five conferences tend to still last longer than the non P5 schools in BB.3 points

This is why a 4 team playoff is dumb. Expand to 16 and we don’t even have to have this discussion.3 points
