Up before College Gameday drinking my morning coffee in my Mean Green Mug. My son running around yelling "Green Mean Cawww" he is 2.5 so we are working on it lol. His little brother sleeping in, resting up for the game tonight. Anticipation for the biggest game on this side of the Mississippi river. The entire family is coming out, first time this year. Hopefully the little one can last the entire game. Go Mean Green!

I literally never seen this much publicity for this school's sports programs. My goodness I need to stay seated for a while.

One thing I have noticed is how many non-UNT fans picked this up. I have seen plenty of random Twitter users complimenting the uniform and the reveal and several saying UNT was now their "second team" - particularly Steelers fans. The AD's office is really cleaning up this year.

It’s unveiled

Yea - we just pulled into Blue and it was fine, but they were turning all cash people away. There is still a decent number of spots open, but it’s pretty full considering 2 hours before game.

Really enjoyed this episode. The K.Smith segment offered a chance to highlight how the strength and nutrition staff really works hard both accommodate and educate players - whatever their unique situations. Also, the halftime/rain delay scene with Kason Martin helping lead the "We Ready" chant as they took the field was great. Enjoyed seeing the young man find ways to apply his natural leadership ability even when he's not seeing the field.

Amen, Bro'! REAL KOLACHES! My mother would pay good money to local Czech women to make kolaches and another bakery delight which they called a Tea Ring. Ever heard of a Tea Ring, NTSUEagle? Below is a Tea Ring. Now I'm getting hungry.

Half my HS graduating class were of Czech descent. Their parents still had the accent. My oldest (late) sister married a Czech. Great, hard working people. Czech women make the best kolaches. Many Czechs in the area I grew up were rice farmers and ranchers or.....(like my late dad) worked at Dow Chemical Company, Freeport, Texas. GMG!

Sitting on my back porch drinking coffee and watching game day. It's my favorite 12 Saturday mornings of the year. The little things.

it's funny how many of us don't know our exact seat locations, we just know where to show up on saturdays...it's our crew, our spot, our area...but the exactness, not an effing clue without looking at the tickets!

I have many a story (ummm, I mean no stories...nothing to see here) at that place

Wait. What? Where are the kaki shorts? Black shorts. And are bands supposed to actually march onto the field? I'm confused.

And I'll say this again. Apogee is used for Football events about 6-18 times per year including home games, HS playoff runs, Spring game, scrimmages, whatever. However, the HUB Club is used upwards of three to four times a week for classes, meetings, receptions, and other large scale events. Simply put, Gate 2 is the most trafficked entrance to this facility and the statue's location is right where it needs to be to have the most impact. I think Mason's eventual statue needs to be at Gate 4, though.

The point is that the Club Level is sold out and there are no hotel rooms left in Denton for Saturday night. Success on the field means success at the cash register. GO MEAN GREEN
