Hardline cliffnotes: Mike watched full game, "UNT legit" Corby - wished play didn't happen because takes spotlight off UNT drubbing UA Better at every position and better coached than UA Arkansas is terrible, but still Arkansas No fluke - Mason Fine very very good college QB Didn't matter what UA tried, snuffed out in a heartbeat Seth "the next coach" Discussed Seth's history North Texas beat their ass Discussed upcoming schedule, think sell outs ahead In top 25 in very near future play cards right could make NYE bowl Right now, looks really really good for them - team is VERY sound with great QB talked about SI article on the return return really not a safe play, NCAA already on top of this and closing loophole Danny seen the return everywhere, play has blown up Corby/Mike - don't let play overshadow ass kicking UNT gave David Moore up next7 points

Just how dominant has UNT been? At the end of the 3rd quarter of the first 3 games UNT is up 128 - 20.6 points

I am a blast at parties. Air conditioned parties with a reasonable amount of people who know the appropriate amount of booze they should drink. Blame it on the Marines. I liked outside and people before they got their hands on me.6 points

"...There's gonna be some 50/50 balls..." Maybe for your team, coach. But no 50/50 balls from Mason Fine. Only sharpshooting.5 points

We made an appearance on this week's video. I offered to mail him a North Texas shirt last week. He already had one for the video. Cameron makes these videos every week for college football and Dallas Cowboys games. They are funny to watch.5 points

Homecoming is literally the appropriate game to bring an alumn back. I mean...5 points

The return is really what got us National coverage. Beating Arkansas was great because they include that in the story/highlight --- but if no "Peter Pan" we don't get one tenth of this press. It would have been like us beating Texas Tech back in the day. Fun memories for us, but a blip on the radar for most everyone else. It's so great the return happened in a game we won versus a school most people associate with success.5 points

I love the Captain Obvious questions. “Coach, when you took over the team was coming off of a 1-11 season. Do you think being 3-0 with a win against an SEC team is helping build excitement” ”Coach, does it help when you are good at special teams? How about defense?” ”If you don’t win on Saturday, would you say it’s possible you will lose?”5 points

I was fortunate enough to be in the stands at Arkansas to watch Peter Pan fly, which got me thinking about the iconic moments in Mean Green Football that I also got to see in person. My list is below (approximate reverse chronological order). What is on yours? - "The Return" or Peter Pan flies at Arkansas - The Drive versus UTSA - The Heart of Dallas win over UNLV - The Stand versus Rice - The NCAA record scoring game (at the time) loss against Navy - The seven overtimes win against FIU - The New Orleans Bowl victory over Cincinnati - The amazing home game against New Mexico State to clinch our 2nd N.O. Bowl - The Brawl at the end of the first half against SMU in 1990 and the subsequent win4 points

Homecoming v. Rice? Most non-fans know Rice for its academic reputation and former SWC residence. Big crowd, good tailgating, swag. GMG4 points

Tuesday AM This is amazing! NBC’s Hugh Hewitt has a national morning radio show on DFW’s 660AM “ The Answer” that begins at 5:00 AM. Before he interviewed Arkansas Senator Tom Cotton this morning he played the full audio of “the North Texas Non Fair Catch” just to rib Senator Cotton. It was hilarious!😆 Senator Cotton was a good sport about it all saying “it was not the best day on “the Hill.” Then closing that interview Hewitt told Cotton he’d be glad to send him the audio of the North Texas play. Funny!4 points

I'm still anticipating the bottom to fall out...to many "brink of true happiness" moments...I can't bring myself to a prediction. We we win this one, though, and I'll believe the evolution is real.4 points

IDK....IMO I think Veto’s questions can be a little too leading and silly sometimes, so I can see why Seth gets annoyed by them. Some of the questions irrate me and I don’t have to answer them. With that being said, I like Veto and understand that he Is just doing his job. In Short: I don’t mind Seth’s reactions/ responses because Seth is being Seth and Brett is being Brett.4 points

I see we have the people rushing to defend Fascism - I mean Liberty - university. It is not a libertarian place, my friends. It is a place where you walk the walk and talk the talk, or else.4 points

Agreed, although I'd argue Hamilton is the more impactful player so far this season on the DL. He has been an absolute force. That's not the say Young hasn't been fantastic, but Hamilton seems to be playing at a different level this year.3 points

UIW was not a traditional trap game, because of their obvious inability to compete with a D1 team. Liberty, on the other hand, destroyed one of our conference mates. I would say the team is much higher than after Smut and overlooking this team to think about opening conference play against a proven team like LaTech is a real danger. #reset3 points

The whole media approach seems different and better now. I don't think we're putting the anus on the USA Todays of the world to pick up the phone and call us anymore, which is nice. Players available for next day interviews about events...a coordinated strategy...saturation in almost every outlet possible... this is just one more thing that is very new and highly enjoyable.3 points

My goodness this is a great article. Peter Pan deal, like our our AD Mr. Baker said is buying UNT more positive press than I've ever seen in my life. I was really too young to know about mean Joe being at UNT. Since I was only about 8 to 10 years old. I certainly knew who he was when he was with the Steelers. I couldn't believe all the national programs that the fake Peter Pan punt return for 6, was showing on. From a marketing standpoint this is worth millions. Priceless!!! Truly great things happening at UNT. The sleeping giant is waking up. Just imagine where will be when SL gets the giant fully awake, and Performing to its true potential.3 points

Without going into melodramatic overdrive, Mason is quite the American story some of us thought he’d be if we only signed him. Too short to play & now showing all how tall he actually plays. (We less than 6 foot tall guys are especially pulling for him).😌 Also, the fact that he’s just a darn good kid really stands tall to so many of us. I’ve been following the Mason/Jason story since they were at Locust Grove as I’m sure some of you have. GMG!3 points

Excited to watch this game! You guys are definitely the best team we've hosted as the next ones down would be ODU (first FBS team at Williams Stadium) or JMU a few years back. Our New stadium opened this year and seats 25,000, we had about 23,000 for ODU. I hope those in attendance anjoy the game atmosphere!3 points

Brett Vito just reported the NCAA confirmed to the Denton Record Chronicle that there will be no rule change. Now maybe Arkansas can just admit they got beat by a better football team and out-coached by a better coaching staff.3 points
