  1. Joke's on you. It's very intimidating. Twilight Sparkle is the princess of friendship and has her own castle... I mean... I've never heard of it...

  4. I am worn out with Vito quoting the series record when a majority of the games were played from 1922-1942. The series picked up again for games in 74, 76, 77, 79, 80, 81, 82, 84, and 89. Since the 1990's, which signal our end to D1AA and SMU's return from the Death Penalty, SMU leads the series 4-3.

  5. I get along great with most UNT fans great. I follow the UNT program along with other CUSA teams out of interest and support, but comments like this are ugly and uncalled for. Pretty poor showing of class. Hickey has done many great things for UTSA, big one being FINALLY getting us a football program we have all been waiting on and one to be proud of. I hope it is nothing health related and she has much success on her future ventures.

  9. I hope that all is okay with her and that she just decided that it was time to go. If they wanted an interim Athletic Director they could always contact RV, couldn't they ???

  10. All the games played in 1920's -1940's SMU was under scholarship limits of 120 total (major college)l we were fielding teams with scholarships in 60's(small college), but Brett wouldn't research that

  11. Sorry to hear you have been getting negative feedback from UTSA fans. I don't condone poor behavior like that and most true alumni seem to feel the same way. There will always be poor class acts though at any school unfortunately.

  15. As @Withers940 mentioned above, I think we all hope this is not health related for Hickey. Instead, let's hope that her sudden resignation is just due to good old fashion NCAA sanctions, maybe even the death penalty. While we are on the subject of class, say hello to @correcamino and @RowdyTalk for me. I believe they are excellent examples of the UT-San Antonio fanbase.

  20. 52-48 Mean Green. Mason Fine is about to emerge from the ashes with the burning power of ten thousand suns. I don't see our defense playing well against SMU, which is nothing other than a compliment to the talent Chad Morris is putting on the field. But I want to be proven wrong. If this team wants the W as badly as us fans do, we're gonna go and get that fat dub. Gonna be in section 104 with my dad yelling my ass off.

  28. Oh please, climb on down from that high horse buddy. Nobody is wishing ill on Hickey. It is fishy that she would suddenly step down like this, but nobody was hoping she or her family were hurting.

  43. There is a path to citizenship. https://www.uscis.gov/ In fact, instead of renewing her green card this year, my wife has applied for naturalization to become a U.S. citizen. There is a path, and she's on it. Legally, as always. Why are people here illegally supposed to be afforded a pathway over, or different than, the one my wife, a legal immigrant, is on? And, again, why do we owe it to them instead of Mexico taking back and taking care of their own citizens? Why isn't Mexico held responsible for its own citizens? Mexico has enough resources to take care of its own citizens. It isn't war torn. It isn't ruled by a dictator. Just because it does a sh*tty job of managing its own economy we should be responsible for its citizens who come here illegally? That makes sense to you? Are we now lowering the immigration bar to allowing entry to people whose countries simply have sh*tty economies of their own making? Jose couldn't find a job in his home country so here came here illegally and cut grass for 17 years. We should now give him citizenship? After all, it's been 17 years and he still thinks he wouldn't be able to find work back home (he doesn't really know, he just assumes...plus, in Mexico, he's not getting subsidized rent and so forth). He's also fathered five children with his own penis, too, while he's been here. Some kids now drive around with him in the truck when he's out mowing on weekends and summers when school is out. We can't send him back now? While we are at it, should we also change the laws regarding things like embezzlement? For instance, if someone steals from their corporation, should they be free from prosecution if they get away with it for a certain number of years? And, if they use that embezzled money to do noble things like provide food, shelter, and clothing for their own kids? I mean, why are we beefing with these people? They just stole to support their family right? And, they got a way with it for a long time? What's the harm? The other employees maybe didn't get raises because of it? So what. At least they have jobs. Why are they complaining? Investors were misled about the use their stakes? So what. They already have plenty of money anyway. After all, they had enough just to give to the company in the first place. They didn't say anything for all those years while it was embezzled; why let them have their day in court now? The whole thing is stupid. Mexico, not the United States, should be responsible for its own citizens. We have a pathway to citizenship, and always have. We've made exceptions in the past for legitimate situations such a Cubans fleeing Castro and Vietnamese, Laotian, and Cambodian refugees after the Vietnam and the surrounding countries fell to communists and dictators. Mexico has never been in one of those types of situations. It's simply a poorly managed country. Setting the bar at "poorly managed country's people can come on in" is setting the bar too low...in my opinion.
