I always chuckle at the assumptions on this board that the UNT AD department is sitting on their hands by the phone...waiting for a phone call.

Well that was insightful...not. Same stuff that's been posted on this board a trillion times.

The big difference is this news is coming directly from the UNT AD department. I think it is great that they are being proactive. Looking forward to the second installment.

I'm sure it's true...but I wish there was a bit more info or quotes directly from the AD.

Behind the scenes, North Texas is being proactive.

Has to be. Indirectly he pretty much let it be known that NT has probably inquired about moving conferences etc.

Pretty smart way for the AD to let the fans know that they are working behind the scenes. It dang sure beats a Post on GMG by the AD, I'll tell you that much. No offense, Harry.

Where in that long string of "potentially"s, "maybe"s and "could be"s was any indication that we are indeed any closer to movement of any sort here at North Texas.
