  1. Past hour
  2. Interesting, I believe they allow a certain number of visits before the wall goes up. It comes up as a paywall for me on Chrome and Edge. Maybe Vito put the hex on me.
  3. Aren't they all one year only now?
  4. There's not any good BBQ in Denton proper. I will die on that hill. Before anyone gets defensive, I own an offset smoker and am friends with a UNT Alum that has a Texas Monthly Top 50 BBQ spot in East Texas.
  5. I miss Steve's BBQ. That was the first place I ever had BBQ. He said we could bring in a keg as long as we shared it with him.
  6. Sorry man, I gotta call BS on that. My niece ran track for Nevada and we attended some football and basketball games. They have very poor support and their student services are worse. There are no business of significance there quite frankly that would have dollars to give. I can promise you schools like Utah State and Nevada and San Jose State do not have strong NIL programs or donations in general.
  7. Give you? This player disrespected Longwood and shows no loyalty or commitment. And you're fine with it... . . . . .
  8. Today
  9. different format than cusa. there is no match play, just 3 straight days of golf, winner take all.....i think
  10. I think that they will give you naming on whatever you want. Just have to ask them and they will come up with a price.
  11. One of the assistants told a group of us at the spring game that we were purposefully waiting on after everyone's spring to go after some defensive linemen in the portal. They didn't want us to tell anyone as they feared some other teams may also try that but I think the cat is probably out of the bag at this point.
  12. The spring transfer portal opened today for football players. Wonder if we will lose anyone. The portal stays open for two weeks for non grad transfers.
  13. Total speculation but many of those schools are in places with less competition for sports dollars so might be getting good community support for NIL. Plus a high percentage of MWC teams make the tournament so plenty of opportunities for the big stage.
  14. 407 is my choice, but it is a treat for me. Expensive, thus rare. Metzlers will always be in the top 3. Lots of meat options, great sides and most important, shares my deep love for the Mean Green. GMG
  15. One day to go. Team - The American Womens Championship - 2024-04-15 (golfstat.com)
  16. Everything in the AD is available for naming rights.
  17. As I recall, UCF was an unknown commodity. Some of us wondered why Sloan would leave NT for UCF (who ?) I recall giving him a can of Virginia Diner peanuts (yum) as an inducement to stay. Didn’t work. Sorry to hear of his passing.
  18. Give me that Jordan Williams frame! Maybe with some extra muscle on top.
  19. I didn’t. I don’t have a subscription to the DRC. I copied and pasted. It is not keeping me from reading the article.
  20. You are confused. Naming rights are for large Athletic donations made directly to a school. A school cannot take a donation for NIL purposes nor give athletes money for NIL. These are done now with 3rd party groups. The NCAA wants to add rules to permit schools to take this over sometime in the future....maybe. 21. Please do not post links behind paywalls. Thank you all.
  22. A 6'6 guard is something NT isnt really accustomed to. We had a bunch of shorties making it rain before this. So this is pretty refreshing. Not hating on the guards of the past, but ya know what I mean lol.

  24. I noticed online that UTSA was offering naming rights for donations and it seemed like a good idea. Are we doing anything similar or have we tried this in the past? Be Bold Today SAN ANTONIO – Leave your mark – and your name – on the future of UTSA Athletics by making a gift that will be integral to the continued rise of the program for future generations of student-athletes. UTSA Athletics recently announced that it is investing $57 million in facilities and capital projects thanks to incredible institutional support. Over the next five years, this emphasis will allow UTSA to focus on the construction of a basketball and volleyball training facility, player development centers for both baseball and softball, a nutrition performance center for all student-athletes and a covered football pavilion. While this investment provides a remarkable foundation for the groundbreaking of these much-needed facilities projects, philanthropic support will play a key role in driving these state-of-the-art facilities toward completion. In 2021, UTSA Athletics launched the Bold Champions campaign to increase support for the Roadrunner Athletic Fund, and to enhance and expand athletics facilities, which will ensure that all 17 intercollegiate sports programs remain competitive. We are grateful to the generous donors who have contributed to the Bold Champions campaign to date. To further drive the campaign, UTSA Athletics is pleased to announce that there are additional naming opportunities available in all sports and at all gift levels. These public acknowledgements serve as an inspiration to others in our community and highlight the impact of the athletics program on the entire UTSA and San Antonio communities. Naming opportunities are a great way to honor family members and make your family name a lasting part of the UTSA Athletics legacy. Leadership gifts begin at $25,000 and can be pledged over five years. If you are interested in supporting the Bold Champions campaign, please fill out an information request form to discuss with a member of the UTSA Athletics Development team. Your support of Roadrunner Athletics is essential to our future success.
  25. Massie is roughly the same frame as Cotton and the incoming Mason. I hope this doesn't further stall their development. Time to figure out what we have in our own recruits
