Scout article: North Texas Summer heats up

Recommended Posts

Halfway through June, North Texas had only one commitment for the 2015 class.

Fast forward 6 1/2 weeks. North Texas has reached double digits.

The latest commitment arrived Monday evening, when Marshall (Texas) offensive tackle Chett Munden (pictured above) announced his pledge via Twitter.

Munden is North Texas' seventh commitment in July and the Mean Green's ninth commitment since June 15, when Canton (Texas) defensive end Sam Miller made the call. The Mean Green has 10 total commitments for the 2015 class.

Would it be appropriate to list the players in the signing class thread that we think will count against this class such as 3 redshirts, plus the transfers that we believe will count against this class? It's kind of hard to keep up.

I think you mean the three greyshirts of which I am certain Chumley is in the mix not as sure about the other two. Rice as Billy states is a for sure as he participated in Spring. I think I will add a transfer/greyshirt component and I thank you for the suggestion. Just need to figure out the format -- trying to keep it nice and simple.
