Go vote for George Dunham, he made it to the final round! 2014 SportsDayDFW Broadcasters Bracket: George Dunham vs. Craig Miller

So we've created the SportsDay Broadcaster Bracket, pitting two local sports media personalties against each other. We'd like you to weigh in on each matchup by choosing which broadcaster is your favorite, and the winner will advance in our bracket. Once we've gotten to the end, we'll know who is your most-cherished broadcasting friend.

I like them both. They are great. I will go with Dunham for the obvious. I love that everyone on the morning show made it to the semi's including Gordo who practically knows nothing about sports.

Yeah but Gordo won it last year and might win it again this year, he's very popular and the closest they have to a national celebrity with his YouTube videos besides maybe Corby and his Shaq video. Lots of people, including myself, listen to the Ticket for the comedy and not necessarily sports all the time. That's the reason why I tune out Norm every day.

      Doesn't seem new, but unlimited transfers

      I can't blame them, the system in place allows them to profit and to move freely. We may not like it, but it's the system. I'm hoping schools taking over the collectives, it's already happening for reasons I stated above, will usher in contracts and buy outs for players. We've opened Pandora's box so we aren't going back to amateur sports, the best we can get out of it is payment on our investments.

      Agree, there was some semblance of programs doing the right thing and following the rules even though they were always getting busted for violations, and everyone knew cheating was going on. It's why I was saying the veil is off now, and making everyone play by those rules has supercharged the whole thing. Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but the schools aren't supposed to work with NIL collectives to get players right? But everyone including UNT is 100% working with these collectives to send out deals to players. Same kind of fake rule following like we used to have, just more of it now.

      I’m not the type who’s going to say, “I’m done with college sports” and that be it. I’m moreso the guy whose interest is just going to wane to the point that I don’t watch anymore. It would actually free up a lot of time that I could be more productive🤣🤣
