'15 OL Tyler Moore (GP North Shore)

Recommended Posts

6'4" 330 lb offensive lineman from Houston. Was 1st team all district 21-5A last year as a junior. Plays left guard for his high school, and likely will stay at guard in college. Pretty quick for a 330 lb kid. We are his second offer, with La Tech being the other.

UNT has several players on both its offensive and defensive fronts who are in the later stages in their careers and hosted a group of players who could end up replacing them the last several days.

Houston North Shore offensive linemen Tyler Moore is among the most highly rated of those players who toured the Mean Green’s facilities.

Moore, who is rated as a three-star prospect by 247 Sports, was in Denton on Saturday. Here are his Hudl highlights.

Looks like a gray shirt offer

Are you sure? This is very early to be offering a grayshirt. I don't get the point behind offering grayshirts this early. If you don't think the kid is good enough to be a part of your class this year, what makes you think he'll fit better for the next year? Especially considering this is Strong's first year and you would think he hopes to improve his recruiting at Texas to where his class is better next year than this year. Which again, why would he fit better next year?

That's what horns247 is reporting.

Texas just got their 4th O-Line commit for 2015. Wonder if that, plus another commit or two, may help here. Even if he was offered a grayshirt.
