Looks like both players have signed and should be decent additions. An all American who seems to be a better Flash. And a point guard who was 3rd in assist in the league who I expect to be an what trey and PJ would have been their junior year if they had stayed. Obviously neither will be an improvement over Alzee, but both can be good role players if utilized right. It looks like we will play some small ball which I like. However if Voss goes down we could be done...

We had 10 juniors and seniors last year. It'll be that way as long as Benford is here. For better or worse.

If it leads to twenty wins or a trip to the big dance I won't complain. I do love having a solid freshman like Jordan Williams who we can dele open over 4 years, but at this point I will be happy with winning regardless of the roster.

      A-Scott Projected to OU

      St. Johns is one of the great sleeping giant jobs in the nation. They have a fantastic basketball history (they haven't been that great for the last generation or so, but the Johnies do have a helluva tradition) going back about 80 years and they play in NYC at MSG.

      Recent Past With all the excitement over Tylor Perry we quickly forgot about the best player from our recent past. The stats and awards bear it out. In my mind the answer is Javion Hamlet. No other player has accomplished what he has. https://meangreensports.com/sports/mens-basketball/roster/javion-hamlet/4731 Imagine what he would have accomplished if the 2020 NCAA Tournament had not been cancelled. We won the Conference in 2020 and arguably that was the best team we have ever had.

      Judge orders Florida State, ACC to mediation to settle suit

      A majority of schools could just vote to dissolve the ACC. There would be a court fight, but eventually schools that want out will be released with some greatly reduced financial penalty. It's like a divorce, you can't keep someone in an unhappy relationship, even with a contract. It will happen probably before the end of next year at the pace things are moving.
