UNT Alumnus about to make his PGA players Card...and gets paid.

Really nice one where Carlos Ortiz, who had his Senior year at UNT last year has made 170k$ in the last month or so, and is very probable to get a PGA players card. Will be cool to have a UNT alumnus to root for at some of those events.

Hmmm no news of this? I saw Vitos blog mentioned it, but needs to be mentioned here too: Ortiz won another tournament.... and is up to over 300k for the year... and its still april. We'll definitely be hearing from him on next years PGA tour.

Nice pub. Also Looks like if he wins another one, he'll get instant promotion to the pga tour already this year. crazy how fast everything goes for Ortiz right now.

And today he is tarting the south georgia classic on the last day with a 1 shot lead. He might actually pull this 3 win thing of before the calendar even turns to june! The 3 win promotion has not been done since 2007 I believe. He is on an incredible hot streak and if this keeps going on like this we'll be hearing his name on tv a lot in the future.
