Well.....I could not have been more wrong and I would like to apologize to Tony for ever being disappointed in him. In the end I believe he will do more for this school than any football recruit could have ever done. He's getting all sorts of publicity to our school by being a possible top 5 pick in next year's draft, he might possibly get the team into the top 25, he's helping bring in a lot of good recruits and single handedly raised attendance.
This next year is going to be great and we owe it all to Mr. Mitchell. Thank you Tony!!!

(TheColonyEagle @ November 26 2010, 11:18 PM) Is there an emoticon for shoot myself in the head?
(Eagle1855 @ October 3 2012, 5:43 PM) Nothing gets me harder for a football game than music school smack.

Even if you didn't recognize his name immediately after the news broke, if you bothered to look him up, you would have seen what kind of recruit he was.
My only concern was that he would change his mind and go to Europe to get paid before making his jump to the NBA. Otherwise, UNT basketball was immediately going to another level... (little did I know that our 2nd & 4th best players would later become ineligible).
This year, barring injury, or another grades setback, the University of North Texas Basketball team is poised to have it's greatest season EVER. I'm looking forward to UNT posting a 25-27 win season and locking up that first top 25 ranking in team history... All this, thanks to the greatest recruit to set foot on campus, Mr. Tony Mitchell.
Now that I am an important person, I could give a rats ass about any of you
Somebody call me when facts replace speculation.
Down the corridor of years, we'll forget the joys and tears, but North Texas, North Texas, we love!

I was more excited than if it were a football player because you need more than one top flight recruit to make a good football team, in basketball one guy can make all the difference.
Could not agree more, when the news broke out I had my talons up all day walking around campus... Singing the fight song everyhour
