Great beer choices, Kram. I'd throw the Deep Ellum Brewery in there too.We have our Om-Pah band set...all UNT students so we are keeping it in-house. They sound great and should add a ton of atmosphere and fun. So far, I am contacting:

Update. We have made initial contact with all the breweries we mentioned earlier...all have shown some initial interest in being part of this event. However, much to be done before we can announce any "sure things". But, OKTOBERFEST AT THE PAVILION IS ON!
Mark your calendars to attend and have a great time on September 15th!
One of the guys involved with Deep Ellum actually lives in Denton and I bet would love to be involved. If you need any contact info etc OSDH&CP could help you.

i guess im a nitpicker...how come Oktoberfest isnt in October? still sounds like a great idea. Good job KRAM
Funny...OKTOBERFEST is NEVER in October!!!! Check out the Oktoberfest celebration in Munich, Germany and you will see it is a month-long celebration of the wedding of a Bavarian King in 1810. It starts in September and ends the first Sunday October...September is the official OKTOBERFEST month...in fact, even Addison who has a great OKTOBERFEST event each year reflects Sept. 20-23 as this year's dates. Come to the Sept. 15th OKTOBERFEST at the UNT Alumni Pavilion and we'll even tell the story of Oktoberfest to the attendees...between beer tastings that is! And, before they taste too much...want them to still be able to hear and compute! Ha!
