The first great fullback of the Bob Stoops era was former OU captain Seth Littrell. The former Muskogee Rougher was a legacy player and followed in his dad’s (Jim) footsteps at OU and was a team captain on the Sooners 2000 National Championship team.

Littrell is entering his third year as the Head Coach of the North Texas Mean Green and has posted a 14-13 record. Littrell is the second coach in North Texas history to lead a team to back-to-back bowl appearances, and to the programs seventh nine-win season in program history.

“It's been great and a lot of fun here,” said Littrell. “It starts with the men that came in with us, our players and our staff. They have gone all in with our culture and team chemistry. It’s the relationships we have built with these kids and our entire staff has done a great job with it. As with anything if you’re going to have success you have to have a lot of great people around you. It starts with our president and athletic director giving us the resources necessary to be successful.” . . .
