I believe we should have a Cherokee Nation appreciation night. We could reduce ticket prices for members, work with them on transportation, have pre game recognition, create a scholarship, etc.

i have long wondered why someone in the AD dept. hasn't thought of this. I know the Cherokee Nation is very proud of Mason.

"Fine wants to be an All-American by the end of his senior year. He also, unabashedly, admits he’d like to become the greatest player in UNT history. This isn’t a cocky admission. Fine’s used these markers as a handhold to carry his career forward – even if most didn’t think he would be tall enough to make the climb. By the way, "Mean" Joe Greene is a North Texas alumnus. Fine doesn’t aim low."

Well, when I assessed the QB candidates in the fall of 2016, my assessment of Fine was that the most outstanding  thing about him was that he "oozed confidence from every pore". Looks like we might need to update that assessment and insert the word "ego"  in place of "confidence"

His kind of confidence is infectious, and the overall confidence and tempo of the offense changes while he's out there. While he continues to work on his throwing/timing skills, he better pay attention to working on improving his elusiveness skills. Because to say that he is going to have a big target on his back this fall (especially against UTSA, So Miss, UAB, etc) would be a huge understatement. Which is why the coaching staff had better get that OL situation fine tuned as early as possible. They also need to get their back ups more playing time this fall.
