They are carving our defense up with cutters and ball movement.

We are doing nothing to prevent them from extending their defense out to the arc.

Some of this is that we can be very one dimensional on offense. We have one consistent pure shooter and no dominate physical bigs. Simmons has shown some promise but he's still very young and it shows. This is where having one guy being off like Duffy is so far can hurt you. He was hot in the tournament to this point but has never shown that consistency before.

Looks like we are treating this trip like w vacation and forgot it was a business trip. Can't believe we can't figure out how to cover the corner three.

Football had their pool party; looks like Basketball had its sight-seeing trip.

All season we have been really bad at floaters and short twos in the line. We constantly hit the back of the rim on those type of shots. I hope our coaching staff teaches our players this offseason to use the glass. If you're long on floater attempts, sometimes it's easier to correct it by shooting it a little bit longer than shorter.

Only reason I can think of that we're not defending the three-point shots...are we worried more about their inside game? Are we counting on my Daddy's old saying about the dog that shits fast?
