DRC: Postseason questions series No. 4 -- Does UNT have an impact newcomer in 2018?

Definitely defense.....and in the run-stopping/stuffing category.  English needs to be back and fulfilling the promise/.hope of his middle clogging abilities. If that doesn't work out then a more bulked up version of some of the young D-lineman that got playing time last fall (Kasnigi, Novil, Reynolds).

Offense... replacements for our graduated offensive lineman. And, like I said in my advocacy of Conner Means being moved to RB, a fast power back to provide a change of pace from our quick and fast Mr. Smith.......and others. Not counting our fullback, we have four running backs on our roster that weigh in at over 200 lbs. And only one (Andre Alger #34, 5'9X215) that is over 205.

addendum: maybe it's this guy......http://www.dentonrc.com/sports/mean-green/2017/05/29/sfa-running-back-loren-easly-plans-transfer-unt

addendum (2). Like Conner Means, Mr. Easly selected an excellent historical number to wear.....23.

Former players wearing #23

The late (and great) Bernard Jackson (78-80) holder of the single season rushing record (1451 in 1978) until broken by Patrick Cobbs (1680 in 2003). That's 25 years.

The very steady and durable Monty Moon (84-88)

Still the career passing record holder, Mitch Maher (92-95)

Humble requests:

If you see something relevant on SM, they (Twitter, Insta and FB) provide direct, shareable links for a reason.  If their profile is non-public, it's probably not a good idea to relay the info.

If you know information that should remain private, don't tell people you have information.

If it doesn't need to remain private, divulge a little instead of suggesting you aren't gonna release information that you don't want to release.

Don’t forget Snapchat! Players have their usernames, etc posted up on social media and you can find out a lot that way! Also, I don’t suggest taking a screenshot of people’s snapchats since it directly sends them a notification..
