I'm starting to trust this staff a bit more in recruiting, but I would not blindly follow that principle. It leads programs down toilet bowls.

How does this commit compare to Tee Goree out of HS?  I can see the numbers are in favor of Goree; I suppose my queston is more in line with on-field style.  Also, 247 lists him as TE?

I'll get excited on signing day...still has time to change his mind. Don't see how you call these recruits committed until they sign. How many have committed to whatever school then change their mind ,de-comitted (I love that term), then signed with another school?

Best way to finish of this class with the last 3-4 spots.. The DL kid from Manvel, the Houston DB committed to WSU, a JUCO LB and potentially a JUCO Tackle

This pickup is awesome. Good size on the outside but wouldn't be surprised to see him at our Y spot just to get him on the field and create mismatches.

I would agree.  Shaw from Manvel, Hallet from Cy-Fair, Faison from Independence CC and his teammate and recent Co. St. commit Williams.

Shaw, Hallet, Faison and Juco tackle Carlton for remaining 4 schollys would be dream scenario. I def think this is possible. I think they add high school kicker as well.

No idea of how much info you have, but last year when we got Darden, Siggers, White in the last week..

Are there any potential kids like that left that the staff has found/targeted that we (fans on here) have no idea about yet? 

I personally would like to add another CB (on top of Hallett, if we can get him) over a JUCO Tackle and pair them together since we will be extremely young after Hall and Brooks

I knew about white because the staff had been on him since the previous summer. I did not know about Siggers or darden. So yeah their could be some fall back kids they have in mind. I know they have been talking to a juco corner that was committed to an sec school. But I think with Mayfield situation up in the air they will def bring in another juco lineman for a safety net. I know they have 4 schollys left. Maybe they get creative and find another.

 

But if I had to rank the final four spots today this second with what we know

1) Hallett

2)Tim  Juco Linebacker

3) Shaw 

4) Carlton juco Tackle

5) High school Kicker.

Which leads me to believe they have a 5th scholarship

I believe Shaw from broken arrow and redfearn both blue shirt

Have we gotten an update on Carroll? 

Thanks for the update on the final count as well. Would love for us to go out add the SEC CB and bring in a HS Kicker and let them battle it out with Zach Williams for a scholarship.
