I was looking through our UNT roster and I pop across this kid.  So he was lightly recruited out of HS, he played our Sam backer spot here at Heights.  He has good size at 6'1 and I always said he would fill out when he got to college.  We used him as our coverage LB.  Im not saying he will be a future NFL player, but he is a high IQ football player and just a hard worker.  Im rooting for him.  He was a 1st team All District OLB in a district loaded with d1 athletes.  Go through the link I provided.

What’s the scoop on Hurshie Williams?

I’m guessing Hurshie walked on. He looks the part that is for sure. Hope he as grown up some in college. He has the physical tools. Wasn’t able to put it together for us. Wish him them best.

It’s interesting, Primous’ film looked pretty impressive.  I think you have to understand the the player picks the clips as where the coach gets t see an entire body of work.  I like his nose for the ball and seems to have good closing speed.

I’m not quite sure what he has been doing the past 2 seasons. I thought he went to Sam Houston. But I know his family moved to Dallas. Maybe he just transferred in. Hoping he pans out.
