Arizona has reached an agreement to hire Kevin Sumlin as coach, as first reported by SiriusXM and confirmed by ESPN.

Sumlin was 51-26 in six seasons at Texas A&M. Before coaching the Aggies, Sumlin was 36-17 in four seasons at Houston, including a 13-1 record in 2011.

It seems like Sumlin could have waited out for a better opportunity.  Tucson's a hard place to find sustained success.

What is interesting is its another school that has been rumored as a place SL could potentially go to...

UA and OU are now filled for the foreseeable future, the only question is Tech willing to bring in another Air-Raid Coach after Coach Bro?

Also, that maybe why Sumlin went there. Easy place to recruit too, can pull from TX and CA in terms of recruits and its likely an easy place to jump back to a bigger program.

Also, just looking at the AZ recruiting class has signed 16 kids and and multiple WRs, RBs, and S are committed... Worthy point/thing to watch hopefully is the kids from Manvel that Sumlin had gotten to commit to him have not signed with AM, and they are likely blocked by current commits/signees at UA. Hopefully UNT turns Martin lose on them on and brings them up for official visits. Would be a nice addition to get 3 huge pieces late from an SEC school potentially.

No I think real question is if Seth will leave for a second tier P5 job if he is really hot.  To me a Second tier P5 is any team that hasn’t finished the bowl season ranked higher than 5 at least twice since 1975.
