I’m glad for him to land on his feet as an OC again.  Always liked him and his passion for our program and relentless drive during some tough times.

Chico took on some pretty hard times here and he did it with class.  I wish nothing but good things for him, well except when he plays us.

I think he could very well be their next head coach when Dimel leaves down the road. 

Itll be real interesting to see if he can recruit legitimate FBS QBs to UTEP. ..because he had zero luck doing that here.

Wish him the best whenever he doesn't play UNT. But not so confident that this will be a good set up for him. I don't think UTEP is generally going in the right direction concerning its athletic department. And Dimmel isn't likely to ever get out of El Paso to go to greener pastures. He's a bit too old for that, even if things work out.

This makes sense for utep and canales’ understanding of the cusa programs is going to be helpful.  This adds some meat to the Dimel hiring.

Can you imagine UTEP’s poor QBs having to memorize Chico’s encyclopedic playbook & having to take his weekly tests?

Their poor QBs can’t hit the broad side of a barn.  How are they gonna execute Chico’s offense?
