Love Smith's running style.  His lean is great and hos cutting ability is second to none.  He will put up big numbers before he is done.  Someone mention he had Jimmerson feet.  I just don't see it.  He is much more decisive, elusive and faster than Jimmerson.

No I said I hope it doesn't get Jimmerson feet.  Jimmerson had the power and I never knew why he had to dance with the ball.  He had things like Robert Newhouse.

So he’s already burned his red shirt somewhere along the way?  As we know, your red shirt year doesn’t have to be your first year.

I'm still trying to figure out how J-Mychal Reese got a 6th year from the NCAA. He played half the season in 12-13 due to injury, half the season in 13-14 due to being kicked off the team, redshirted after transferring here in 14-15, played full seasons in 15-16 and 16-17.

"Hey, can I get an extra year? I missed half a season because of injury and half a season because I got kicked off my team. So I should get an extra year, right?"

Yup, according to the NCAA.

I don't think he ever signed with anyone , at least not that I could find

      St. Johns is one of the great sleeping giant jobs in the nation. They have a fantastic basketball history (they haven't been that great for the last generation or so, but the Johnies do have a helluva tradition) going back about 80 years and they play in NYC at MSG.

      Recent Past With all the excitement over Tylor Perry we quickly forgot about the best player from our recent past. The stats and awards bear it out. In my mind the answer is Javion Hamlet. We won the Conference in 2020 and arguably that was the best team we have ever had.

      Judge orders Florida State, ACC to mediation to settle suit

      A majority of schools could just vote to dissolve the ACC. There would be a court fight, but eventually schools that want out will be released with some greatly reduced financial penalty. It's like a divorce, you can't keep someone in an unhappy relationship, even with a contract. It will happen probably before the end of next year at the pace things are moving.

      Judge orders Florida State, ACC to mediation to settle suit

      The ACC has a media rights deal that runs through 2036 with massive financial penalties to leave. ACC schools make more money per school than the Big 12. The PAC had no media deal and zero financial penalty to leave the conference. The two situations couldn't be more different. ACC schools do not want to associate themselves with the likes of WVU, Cincy, UCF, Texas Tech, OK State and the other Truck Stoppers.

      The ACC will be picked apart just like the PAC was. Big12 will help in the raiding, just as they did with the PAC.
