Homecoming Tailgate Getting Serious!

Recommended Posts

I am breaking out the Grill on this one.

Victor & Amanda are building a “Nacho Average Taco Bar” should be good. And Amanda's "Mean Green Caramel Apple Jell-O Shots" should be there  as well.  Yum

John is doing his "North Texas Homecoming Special Cuban Sandwiches", which are carved, made and panini pressed on site. Plus some kind of cookie I bet.

I will have Balls, Beer Brats, and Cuervo

Please Stop by and Bullshit a while have a ball or something we share. Enjoy this season!

Weather is looking perfect.

What is on your menu?

I like to swing by Viewpoint Bank smoker also, they make some cool stuff different each week.

Planning to do a small tailgate with venison steak and sausage this week since we have to make a 5 hour round trip to Denton and back.  You’re a kindred spirit of mine Tony.  Way to be generous and down to fellowship/party!

One of these days I need to swing by yalls setup.

Probably not a coincidence, especially yesterday. Thank you for joining us.

We won once last season also.

Thanks to you we are now a two time award winning tailgate!

I don't say "Thank You" enough, Tony. You, Victor, Amanda, John, et.al., deserve many kudos for the great contribution ya'll make to Game Day. You are very much appreciated.

Looks like we are headed for a fabulous late-November game with fabulous weather come Saturday.

Once again, a yuuuge   THANK YOU.

This is a repost from another board in this forum to garner more responses.
Why is our athletic staff so small compared to other CUSA schools?
We only have two compliance employees, a relatively small marketing team, only one graphics guy on board and only three people working in the ticket office.
Is this something we can expect to change in the near future? I read a post on this forum referencing the $26 million debt our athletic department has but perhaps this is one of those times where you have to spend money to make money.
Also, I made arrangements to be in Denton for SMU weekend (some have speculated that game could be the first sellout in Apogee history) and would appreciate some recommendations for good restaurants and some fun activities to do with the wife and kids while we are in town. I'm trying to avoid the cliche places like Rudy's and etc.

We've created a tailgating collaboration map in Google Maps. Everyone should be able to pin their tailgating spot on it. Give it a try! Here is the link.
      Tailgating Map
To add your tailgating spot on the map:
      1. Click the "Add marker" icon under the search bar near the top of the map
      2.  Click on your tailgate spot
      3.  Enter your gomeangreen.com alias for the Title
      4.  Add some information about your tailgate scene in the Description (and click the camera icon if you want to add a picture of your spot)
      5.  Click on Save

Have fun and GO MEAN GREEN!!!

      See you at the games.
