I been telling y'all bout my boy here. Very similar to Siggers!  Not 6 foot. More like 5'10 but can straight ball. Can play slot, RB , or DB

I watched the film, I liked him a little more as a back than I did as a receiver. He runs downhill, doesn't dance too much from what I saw. Seems pretty good as a single-cut back. Excelled at making 1 guy miss with his spin or a juke. Didn't shy from contact. Got low when contact was imminent. Crack blocks well, but didn't look to get his hands on another guy after he demolished the first. Route running could be polished, but honestly the QB wasn't hitting him in time, most of the time he was having to come back or move from the initial route to get the ball. Solid athlete.

You look at Harker stats after the first two games, and it's clear he isn't the starting RB.

As far as WR, looks like he's only led the team in receiving once.  Very few catches and yards.

What kind of offense is this where the leading WRs get less than five catches a game?  Looks like they feed the starting back first, and give him 20+ carries per game.

We are stacked at RB and WR, so they have to be looking at him as a DB.  Unless our coaches are just dumb...recruiting a backup running back or receiver from a run first offense.

Is McCarney still coaching?  He loved that run first approach.

Then you aren't very aware of SL history..

He has had offenses that are more run heavy % wise at multiple stops..

Also, why are we being critical of them adding more potential play makers? Get the kid to campus if he can play then worry about where he plays...

Means was a QB when SL got here, moved to RB and this spring moved to LB..

He's not even the playmaker for his own high school

He also looks short.  Is he 5'8" or 5'9"?

Have you watched him play?  One of our posters is his coach. I will take his opinion over your comment. Regarding height, ever heard of Marcus Trice, Lance Dunbar, Patrick Cobbs, etc...?

He's not even the playmaker for his own high school; he's not going to be a playmaker here.  He backs up a running back in a run first offense.  This isn't a serious college prospect on the offensive side of the ball.

He must have no film except for the one hit on defense either because it's us and Stephen F. Austin as his choices.

He also looks short.  Is he 5'8" or 5'9"?

Brelan Chancellor.  please message me and tell me what you don't like about his tape.

OfficerBennett you cant be serious.  He isnt our starting TB but he is our do everything player.  He has started at WR since his soph year.  Again at the 6A level.  We are a run 1st offense that has multiple backs and like I said he gets 80-100 rushing and receiving a game.  He takes snaps at QB, TB, WR and will spot play safety for us.  Also KR and PR.  You might want to get a clue.  Again watch the film, there are 3 years of highlights.  Blocks, hits, touchdowns.  What a dumbass.

He will be on his official this week v UAB

Looking forward to an announcement on Sunday.   Looks like he'll be a nice WR for us.

His highlights show him getting the ball unchallenged for the most part.

Does he catch the ball well?   Deep ball concentration?   Strong going up for the ball in coverage?

Believe he is being recruited as a RB.  At least that is what is mentioned in one of the posts above.

I'm assuming RB. He told me WR also. We just threw him out at safety in prevent tonight and he did this. Straight baller. He gets about 80-100 rushing 80-100 receiving per game at the 6a level.

This is the post I was referencing.  Let's call him "offensive specialist" or "touchdown maker"

He can go grab the ball has great hands.  He could play DB/WR/TB.  He told me today he is going to tell UNT he wants to play DB here.

Why? If they've offered why not play where they put him?

Yeah that seems a bit odd lol.

"Hey coach I know you're offering me a scholarship as a Receiver, but I've decided you're gonna play me at Corner."

I doubt it goes like that.   I bet he lets the coaches know he would like to play DB.   Then, the coaches will explain to him what they like about his tape at WR and explain that his best chance to play at the next level is at WR.  Maybe they like him as an "athlete" and would be willing to try him at DB.   Who knows?
