That’s the one issue most seemed to see was how we lacked depth. I’m assuming the NIL actually makes they more difficult. Do we want to pay guys like these to just sit there… can we afford more…. I hate the NIL

Not overwhelmed nor underwhelmed, just whelmed. He does seem to be a competent coach for our prissy little sister school.
Went 105-100 over 11 seasons with USC against their PAC12 competition; that's fairly average against comparable competition and I fail to see what quality makes him so much more desirable to SMU than was Lanier.
I know that my interest in College Football has degraded massively over the last few years. It started with the Transfer Portal and got worse with the NIL. I no longer watch or attend any games outside of NT. It's just not as fun anymore to me.
