The road to LSU goes through Denton. 

I'm personally surprised to hear of this.  If I was an LSU supporter and I heard the Tigers were getting another re-tread from North Texas, and one with a 5 year non-winning record as well, I'd question the judgement of the LSU Athletic Dept and the new head coach.  But that's just me.

Need to write-in a clause in McCasland's deal that says if LSU pursues him, the buyout goes up 2X.    Should be easy money.

This is what Benford is supposed to be--a recruiter at a Power Conference school with lots of resources and a plethora of talent surrounding him. He doesn't need to x's and o's anything and Will Wade won't ask him to do that. He will plant him in every gym in LA, MS, and TX to get the Tigers some great talent.

Thanks again, RV...the $hittiest of his hires, if you ask me. Worse than Dodge just due to what he took over and what he left behind--with absolutely no success at all and an attendance plummet that may not be recovered here for years ahead, if ever...

Good luck to Benford, it is a job he is made for.  I would hate to recruit against him.
