Predict the UNT/SMU score

UNT-34

SMU-17

As I said last year, should we lose to SMU, this season will be a disaster.

I don't think we will be a bowl team or world beaters but I don't see how SMU is improved at all from last year.

I can point to multiple ways we have improved drastically, even if our lack of lines concerns me.

I think we need to score >30 to win.  If Littrell and Harrell put up 30+ in their first ever game together, and with this roster, then I think we're on our way to a BIG rebound year.  We'll need the defense to score some points, but I just can't pick a loss against the second most vile school in the land (Penn St is #1 most vile).

Mean Green - 35

Dirtbags - 30

**Also, did the dirty cheaters face a 3-3-5 last year?  If so, who?

Negatory. faced 3-4 (including mixed), 4-2-5 and maybe some 4-3 iirc.

Isn't the 4-2-5 similar to the 3-3-5? I mean it seems to me that we'll be having wheeler come off the edge often leaving only two "true" linebackers in Finney and Scott. Idk, just my thoughts

Anyways I predict UNT in a shootout

UNT - 40

SMU - 38

Allows us to blitz more.

UNT wins because its score is higher.

Best losing score prediction I've ever seen...

I'm going 37 - 24 bad guys.  2nd year of the fighting Morrises is gonna be too much for the first year of the fighting Littrells...  I think we see improvement over last year in our qb play, but we just don't have continuity quite yet.  We shall see how recruiting goes over the next season or so.  We shall see...
