Kishawn McClain Named To Preseason All-Conference Team

McClain Was Selected By The 13 Conference USA Coaches

 

IRVING, Texas – Junior safety Kishawn McClain was selected to the 2016 Conference USA All-Conference by the league’s 13 head coaches, the conference office announced Wednesday.

 

McClain was the Mean Green’s leading tackler in 2015 and is expected to help lead North Texas, as the program begins the Seth Littrell era, when it opens the season on Sept. 3 against Metroplex rival SMU at Apogee Stadium at 6 p.m.

 

McClain ranked third in C-USA with 110 total tackles in 2015, 77 of which were solo. Additionally, the Rosenburg, Texas, native forced a pair of fumbles, recovered one which was returned for a touchdown, and intercepted a pass during his sophomore season.
