Fine: "heavy duty" work outs in preparation for UNT Fall Camp

Recommended Posts

Received word that Mason Fine is working out very had in preparation for UNT Fall camp and will continue this into the summer.  I like hearing this as many times guys will take a break over the summer and it puts them behind.  Can't wait to see this kid wearing green.

I really hope that he plays some in blows out that hopefully we dish out.. Just so he sees some game action after this season since he will be at or near the top of the depth chart.

I don't know. Maybe it would be better if Morris and Shanbour really step it up in Fall Camp and Fine shows so much potential that they decide to redshirt him so that we can have him for a full four years.

This must happen. He does not need to sniff the field this year.

Today in fring'n Jr. high sports is 24/7! The difference is being driven when nobody is watching! The success this kid has earned proves he is that kind of kid. Red- shirt no matter what! GMG

Let him learn, let him grow physically, let him grow mentally. Don't want to stunt his learning by throwing him out to the wolves.

Morris and Shanbour can teach him the next two years.

Unless he's a top 3-5 CUSA qb - basically a sensation that you just can't bench - I don't want to see him play till he's a RS Soph.

That would be a good thing, fellas. Means we have a stable QB situation, we are being patient, and that we aren't desperate.
