The players need to shoot the ball! Either they are soft/scared or the coach is holding them back. We have to make our shots, but there is no confidence! When we get it into the paint we  turn it over or throw up a bad shot. The offense is just awful! 

 

Tomorrow we we need to just roll the ball out there and have some offensive freedom. Set screens and move the entire time. It's really not that difficult.

Athletics at UNT is about as difficult as it gets.

No it's not.  It is called poor coaching.

Bonus points to whoever can name an Athletic Director who survived a football and basketball coach firing in the same year. 

If Benford is fired before the calendar turns, that would be all 3 revenue coaches fired in 2015. Just a few months after RV said this in May

“What we need now is for folks to come out and be a part of what we do,” Villarreal said. “It’s fair to say that we provided the facilities and atmosphere that people wanted. We have the kind of coaches who can do what we need to do. Dan proved that a year ago. We need people to come out, fill the stands and help move the program forward.”

13 is the most wins I see on this schedule, with 11 being more likely.

0-2 in the regular season. Troy is comparable, so tomorrow should be another close one.

We are technically 2-2. Those wins counted on the record and will sit there in the W column all season long whether you don't like it or agree with it.

      St. Johns is one of the great sleeping giant jobs in the nation. They have a fantastic basketball history (they haven't been that great for the last generation or so, but the Johnies do have a helluva tradition) going back about 80 years and they play in NYC at MSG.

      Recent Past With all the excitement over Tylor Perry we quickly forgot about the best player from our recent past. The stats and awards bear it out. In my mind the answer is Javion Hamlet. We won the Conference in 2020 and arguably that was the best team we have ever had.

      Judge orders Florida State, ACC to mediation to settle suit

      A majority of schools could just vote to dissolve the ACC. There would be a court fight, but eventually schools that want out will be released with some greatly reduced financial penalty. It's like a divorce, you can't keep someone in an unhappy relationship, even with a contract. It will happen probably before the end of next year at the pace things are moving.
