I found Jeff Wilson's East Texas clone. His name is Marcus Tucker from Winnsboro. They run the wish bone, and his highlight video is pretty much him running for long TDs.

6'1 205 1724 yards rushing and 27 TDs

Email was never acknowledged, but I heard this kid is going to TAMU Commerce. Apparently other schools think that he is too slow to play RB at this level.

Gavin Hardison: QB Hobbs, NM is putting up huge numbers.  I can't find much on him, but may be worth an look.

Looks like he has been to our camp.

Recently threw for 622 yards and 7 TD's in a game against Artesia, NM.  Made an official visit to us a couple of weeks ago.

I've looked through several threads and can't find the email to send prospects to the coaching staff. Can somebody please point me in the right direction?

I've got a quarterback I want to send them. Name is Colby Suits of North Forney Falcons.

He's a senior this year and only has 1 offer from ULM which he has committed to. He's 6 foot 3 and 222 pounds per scout and 247. Listed as a 3 star by scout and 247. Scout has him as the number 4 pro style qb in Texas.

Sophomore and junior year were slow but he's exploded this year. He accounted for 10 touchdowns (400 passing yards and 200 rushing) alone two weeks ago against Wylie East and his team has put up 68, 56, 56, 70, and 42 (only loss to highland park) in the first 5 games.

I've watched some Hudl videos and he's made some pretty good throws. No bs wide open guys in the recent videos. Looks like a man amongst kids because of his size so remember he plays 5A football in the dfw areas.

Here are his pages:

Believe we got a WR of his as a PWO that walked on this year, I think clay is his name?

Click on the above link and scroll down to the recruiting coordinator, clink on the envelope on the right side of the page and that should do it.

Highly underrated player that we need to offer now! Reminds me a little bit of Hambone from high school. Paging Jeff Koonz

The last lightly-recruited guy we pulled from DeSoto is leading the team in tackles ATM.

i'm on board with offering him.

Thank you. That's what I ended up doing. The email it leads to seems to be the same for all on the page (Untfootball@unt.edu) but I appreciate the help!

I know there's already 2 committed but one isn't getting much playing time this year and I don't know much about kason Martin but he seems to be legit. Having 2 committed shouldn't mean we ignore late bloomers who are ready physically and are tearing it up senior year. Colby Suits has over 1300 passing yards with 18 TDs and 3 interceptions at the 5A level this year. He's physically ready (6 ft 3, 220 pounds), is playing lights out, and has another FBS offer (something many gripe about on here). I think it's worth a look.

But what about his offer list?? 🤔🤔

With us only having 3 QB currently plus 2 committee we can use another arm.. offer the kid a PWO with the chance at something.. never hurts to offer

I would question this guy's sanity if he were to turn down a free ride to a FBS school to come here as a pwo.

I agree with not ignoring late bloomers, but it's a #'s game, & right now Littrell is toeing a thin line with his scholarships.  You only get 25/yr, & kicking the can with his Blueshirts last year leaves him with, what, 16-17 scholarships to give this year?  We can't give 3 of those to QBs.

You never know.. may wanna stay close to home.. also, why do you see some programs stack up on top QBs every year? The kids think they can beat out anyone

Wasn't one of our two QB commits potentially offered as a PWO? I get what you're saying, though.

Helps when their highlights are updated.... and also helps when you hire a former Briles disciple to coach on staff... hear RJ works his dudes to he bones.  90+ hours a week probably pushing 100+

I'm not a scout or some football savant. I also haven't seen him play since last season. From what you've seen and what you know about the coaching staff, do you think he's worth a look despite having 2 QBs committed? He's pretty well rated by scout and 247, has good size, and I would hate for him to go to another FBS school in ULM and be a legit FBS starter for the next 5 years when he's local and we would probably have a shot at him. He passed for 1 td and ran 3 in last night against Poteet.

We aren't, but should be recruiting Tyler Jackson - DeSoto. Projects to be a true middle linebacker (i've heard we've done pretty well with a linebacker from DeSoto before). The kid is on the cusp of some bigger offers, has interest from Texas St, Duke, UTSA, Boise, but no offer yet. I think it would be big if we offered first as I know this is a position of need.

He is 6'1", 220 Lbs and plays downhill, physical and great play recognition. He's surrounded by D1 talent and is in no way outclassed on film.

Just like Perry from DeSoto last year, I think this kid will blow up towards the end of the recruiting cycle and would rather get in on him early. I don't know where you guys send this stuff so the coaches see it, I'd be happy to do it if you get me the info. Beyond that, we need to continue building these high school relationships in places like DeSoto.
