Surely you jest.

once tournaments have been filled usually schedules are alma of complete. We should have information on at least a few teams. I am assuming based on the past decade or two of schedules we will play two division 2 or lower schools (we alsmot always have), the likes of Sam Houston State, Grambling, Jackson State and other Southland or SWAC schools. I am more interested in the other teams we play. We usually play one or two top 50 teams and have at least once decent opponent at home. I would like to see Texas Tech, SFA, and LSU on our scheduale.

      Doesn't seem new, but unlimited transfers

      I can't blame them, the system in place allows them to profit and to move freely. We may not like it, but it's the system. I'm hoping schools taking over the collectives, it's already happening for reasons I stated above, will usher in contracts and buy outs for players. We've opened Pandora's box so we aren't going back to amateur sports, the best we can get out of it is payment on our investments.

      Agree, there was some semblance of programs doing the right thing and following the rules even though they were always getting busted for violations, and everyone knew cheating was going on. It's why I was saying the veil is off now, and making everyone play by those rules has supercharged the whole thing. Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but the schools aren't supposed to work with NIL collectives to get players right? But everyone including UNT is 100% working with these collectives to send out deals to players. Same kind of fake rule following like we used to have, just more of it now.

      I’m not the type who’s going to say, “I’m done with college sports” and that be it. I’m moreso the guy whose interest is just going to wane to the point that I don’t watch anymore. It would actually free up a lot of time that I could be more productive🤣🤣

      I don’t completely disagree, but at least they used to have sit out a year if they transferred. If I’m going to lose a year of eligibility, I’m going to think long and hard before I leave for another school. Now? No reason whatsoever to stay.
