There was a key tidbit on the basketball front that came down today. Ja’Michael Brown, a guard from San Antonio who has signed with UNT, was approved by the NCAA Clearinghouse.

Clearinghouse approval is usually a foregone conclusion in recruiting, but Brown has a bit of an unusual background and finished up high school at Pro-Vision Academy.

And here I thought you meant Larry Brown at SMU.  Then I realized that the NCAA could never clear him of wrongdoing as they would never charge him no matter what the circumstances.

On another note...great to see UNT's Brown cleared for action by the NCAA.
