Former Cedar Hil WR Leaving A&M

Recommended Posts

Gonzalez, a former four-star prospect, has not announced what school he intends to transfer to but look for local programs like SMU, TCU and Baylor to be options for the Dallas native.

He was the #6 WR in the country in the 2013 class, according to 24/7.

I remember when this kid was being recruited and I recall him being pretty special - extremely fast. Would love to see him in Green but I'm guessing we will have to fight SMU and probably others for his services. Maybe Aderius Epps who is from Cedar Hill and transferred from K-State here could help us lure him.

Speaking of Cedar Hill, saw where McGuire was picked up for DUI. Will he still be coaching there?

Don't transfers have to pay their way their first year at a new school? I would think we would be a favorable option considering UNT's cost vs. SMUt/TCU/Baylor's.

No, transfers can come in on scholarship. Guys like Pegram, Terrell, Trice, and Anthony Wallace all were on scholarship from day 1 after transferring.
