UAB president to make case at C-USA winter meetings

"There is going to be a couple of major issues that we're going to discuss," Massaro said about the meetings, which end Wednesday. "One is the autonomy and paying cost of attendance. Then the other one is UAB.

"UAB will be there. The president of UAB will be there and he's scheduled to talk to the other presidents about their situation and, I think, their desire to continue on in Conference USA."

Even if they were to reinstate football, they will be awful for awhile. I would only want full members. Their replacement should not be a move up either. We need a school that is ready to compete in all sports right away.

That's a valid point forever. Hadn't thought about that. They would be a startup now the vultures have picked it apart.
