WBB vs OU on Fox SW

Hard to say she'd be doing any better. We only have her one season to go off.

Im not really one to dwell on past coaches, but to be fair her entire coaching career, including the improvement in her one year here suggests she would be doing much better. She recruited at a higher level, including a couple all sun belt players that are no longer with the team.

Peterson if I remember right was about a career .500 coach without any high level success despite being in better conferences.

.Right. Cause anyone who won 80 games and coached in 4 post seasons at Charlotte, took a 6 and puke Stephens team and led them to a 7-2 start, including a 10 point lead in Austin before waning at the end and finishing the season one point away from a plus .500 record couldn't possibly do any better than 0-6 this year.

Unless you have the ability to hop between parallel universes (assuming alternate universes even exist) there's no way to know she would be doing any better. We're basing that assumption off of one season and I guess how she's doing down in Austin with much better recruits.

What might be the most funniest thing about North Texas fans is that the grass is always a better shade of green on the other side of the fence. We could have the world's best coaches (never will happen with our PB&J level budget) and we'd still think that coach is awful and there are people that could do better.

I don't claim to be anything close to a WBB guru . . . but you don't have to be one to tell the difference between the overachievement that Aston was able to get out of her players from the complete running of a program into the ground that Petersen has brought to UNT. It is entirely possible that this year Petersen will outdo Shanice Stephens' last year.
