Confirmed: Beer at the Pit this year

I was checking out the Groupon deal in the other thread and noticed that it includes "2 16oz beers." I checked it out and confirmed that beer will be for sale at basketball games this year. For those with access to the green room, that remains as it always has.

Not quite the same...admission will be free, but beer and spirits will cost starting this year...no dinners, but hors d'oeuvres will be served.

Looks like since beer is now being sold in the Super Pit, they cannot give it away in the Green Room. Should work out the same price for me if my wife and I have two beers each in the Green Room. Six of one, half a den of another...all good.

I dont remember exactly, but the only "craft" beer is "firemans 4 ale". The other was bud light coors light etc. and the "other" room is not that secret.
