6'5" 295 lb offensive tackle from Iowa Western CC. We have offered. Holds 7 offers, including Marshall, East Carolina, and UAB. Originally from South Carolina. Has 3 years left to play 2 (still has redshirt eligibility, will come in as a true junior). Will graduate from Iowa Western in May, so he will not be an early enrollee/midterm guy.

Well, looks like signing day is going to come and pass without us signing a JUCO offensive tackle. We had at least 4 JUCO tackles we offered who signed with other schools.

So we have a few options:

1. Sign a player in February like Works, who won't be here for spring ball.

2. Save a spot for after spring ball to sign a guy if you still feel like you need more options/depth. Problem is, the selection will be more limited than the first option, if guys like Works sign in February.

3. Stand pat with the guys you have.

Where did those 4 OT commit to?

Matt Kellerman committed to Ok State, Jordan Fagan committed to Illinois, Justin Sandifer (visited UNT) committed Louisville, and Preston Brooksby (also visited UNT) committed to Utah State.

Thanks. Nothing to hang our head about losing recruiting battles to those 4 schools. I just don't get the mentality that a lot of players have of P5 or bust. Not really singling out these 4, just making a generalized statement. So many kids get so hung up on the P5 or bust mentality and they get to where they are going to ride pine, especially at QB. Solid D1 QB's are stockpiled in the P5. It's ridiculous.
