  1. I paid $7 per ticket and took my daughter last weekend. We really enjoyed it! We sat right behind our bench and listened to the coaches calling plays and the team cheering for their teammates. Looking forward to the next weekend home game.
  2. This recruiting season will be huge. Littrell can’t blow this season’s success the way Coach Mac did after the 2013 season. We HAVE to capitalize on this to gain traction in recruiting. To say we haven’t made progress in recruiting is irresponsible; we have brought in some nice players. However, a few good recruits won’t change a program. Winning changes a program. To compete with better programs we need better players at most positions. That won’t happen without winning. For a lot of the kids that we bring in we are their only option or the last resort. Even the best recruiter would struggle to get the kids we need when you’re selling a program that has a history of losing. THIS IS THE KIND OF SEASON that can change that!!! Be positive. We are on the uptick and now we get to sell a culture change to recruits. Two consecutive bowl games will really help. Remember, you build a program. It doesn’t just show up. We are further ahead than where most thought we’d be when we brought in SL and GH. I would expect us to have a similar type season next year give or take a couple of games in the wrong direction but 2019 should really good if, and it’s a big if, we can leverage this year’s success. We’ve made progress. You’re crazy to think we haven’t.
  3. Lol. I’m still learning how to do this board. Great post by old guy student
  4. You’re absolutely correct. The saying “there’s always next year” was our this year. We have so much to look forward to. I enjoyed this season! The defense will get better, we will add depth to the OL and our playmakers are young. I’ll miss Smiley but we are in good hands with at WR for years to come. I’m disappointed with today’s results but I’m so grateful to be angry while playing in a CCG.
  5. Not only did we get destroyed today, this stupid classless act will be viewed nationally by making fun of FAU’s Leon Lett moment. It comes at our expense for all to see.
  6. Our mission should be to close the gap against good teams. We can’t use “they should be ranked” as a reason we are getting our ass kicked. This bullshit comes down to our coaches not ready for the next level. FAU has superior coaching. Yes they have more talent but not enough to put them this far ahead of us. “At the end of the day” Wren needs to do his job and be the bad cop at the end of the season and make the necessary changes. Yes, we may be young on defense but that doesn’t excuse one of the worst defenses in the country. Bottom line is if UNT wants to act like big program they have to fire Reff. Most major programs would’ve already fired their DC before the season ended.
  7. In fact, bench the whole defense, too. I want to see an entire new lineup. At least we can say we did some kind of adjustment while getting our ass kicked
  8. All I have ever requested out of our program in my 20 years of supporting it is to not embarrass us. That’s reasonable, right? I’ve watched a lot of bad football and have always been reasonable with my expectations for our program. BUT here we are on national tv getting embarrassed. That said, this has been a amazing season and so proud of these kids. I look forward to next season because there is not way in hell our defense remains this bad.
  9. Is depth our issue? Why are we playing the same scheme, with the same players and getting the same piss poor results?! That’s on Reff! We have seen NO adjustments the entire season. Our defense is horrendous and yet, we just keep rolling with the same roster. It’s not like they will all of a sudden “hit their gaps” or “have their eyes in the right spots.” Try anything new. Anything!
