TexasTech had a lot players enter the portal also. Mac can be tough on players and some may not like that and they can go somewhere else and play. What interesting on why Ruben is going MI is for the history. Hard to believe he would not even go through senior night here. -
Lived in Albuquerque for many years. They are the only game in town and the fans show up for the games. You couldn't get a game for years. The last five years they were not good and the crowd thinned and tickets were available and attendance was way down. I sure if they are winning now they are drawing a crowd. UNM is truly a commuter school. They have a medical school and an engineering school. The campus is located in not a great area of town. Hope he finds happiness there.

I think what is slowing down the seating is they have to see how many season ticket they will have to work with. Then they have deal with the number seats held by season ticket holder and they have to slot into rows to make it work. I have two seats but the guy next to me has one and other guy other size has four. I think they know the number of seats but have to figure out how the season ticket holders will fit in the rows.

Reedit had a list of the Super conference team. and one division called the under conference. We did not make the list of those teams, the team down south of us was on the list. Tulane and Temple were on the list as well. Boise State and James Madison were also there.

Sorry to hear that, you think IT would be one field that wont face layoffs these days but I guess no one is immune.

I can tell I have never been less excited about MG sports since the 1970's. NIL has killed it for me. Part of I enjoyed was watching the progress of he players develop.. I bought my season tickets for football but I am not sure about basketball this year. It just sucks to be one of the farm teams.

I dont know how anyone can hold a mid major coach responsible for the team records with all this going on. I am thinking I might retire from a being a basketball fan. At this rate the one guy on the bench maybe our point guard..nnI guess I will wait and see on who we get to replace these players before I renew my season tickets.

Nothing will surprise me anymore. College football and basketball are dead. Nothing more than semi pro teams

This just sucks, it will be this way forever now. We are the farm system for the rich guys. Maybe the team that picks up the player should pay for the education and expenses at the old school . everyone else is making money why not the farm system.

The morale of the story is never get beat by UNT if you want to keep your job.

Coaches dont follow their contracts unless they benefit from it, players change schools like most change underwear why should conferences be any different. It is the Wild Wild West now. I hear they want out because SMU is joining the conference. -
