  1. Maybe we should all appreciate the years Ruben and Aaron have stayed here even more!
  2. I think he would be a great replacement for Edwards. Great scorer, better ball handler and equal defensively. Bad part is you only have him for one year but that gives time for the two HS recruits to develop.
  3. Maybe this means Ruben is coming back. I never felt like they were ever comfortable playing together. Hate to lose his scoring but he also had to have a lot of shots to get those points. Not very efficient. He also struggled in late game situations. Good luck to him and I trust Hodge to get a quality replacement!
  4. I think Moore will leave and maybe Cotton. Both of the HS recruits we are bring in are guards and one is a point guard. If Jones, McCollum and Edwards stay, they won't have many extra minutes at the guard spots.
  5. He seemed like a great team player, and I heard he worked hard in practice. Best of luck and I hope he finds the right school.
  6. If we are able to upset Seton Hall Saturday, has anyone heard if we would be able to host the 3rd round game? Hope there isn't a cheerleading competition or tractor pull next week! Go Mean Green!
  7. Other coaches respect us but not their fan base. I like being the underdog in games like this.
  8. He said at the beginning of the year that they wanted to push the pace a little bit more this year but I think the injuries derailed some of that. Now that we have everyone healthy and can go 8-9 deep, we are playing a a faster tempo. I know that plays into Ruben's game, Scott and Edwards as well.
  9. Seating is 1600 for basketball. I think they play their high-profile games at the Prudential Center.
  10. They don't shoot well from 3 but are great at the FT line 77%. Going to have keep them from getting to the line. They are middle of the pack rebounding but good on the offensive glass. Should be a guard dominated game. Hate the early start for our guys especially playing on the east coast at their place. They play in a band box gym that seats 1,600 for basketball. They will have a huge advantage with a packed, loud crowd and we will need to adjust to shooting in the small setting. Maybe playing at Rice's gym will help us. Go Mean Green!
  11. Alot will depend on the mentality of the two teams. Who is more excited about playing in the NIT? It will be interesting to see how hard each team plays. Really quick turnaround. GMG!
  12. If we made it to the CBI tournament, I would like to see Cotton and anyone else that Hodge thinks can play next year get a look.
  13. Sissoko was a major disappointment this year. He graduated so I wouldn't mind if he moved on. A. Scott isn't a lead dog. I hoped he would become that this year but he's a great role player. Have to bring in a couple of bigs that can rebound and protect the rim. As someone else mentioned, nobody really knows who will stay or go these days. I trust Hodge and staff to bring in the right pieces. We HAVE to get better at running out of bounds plays and end of half/game sets. That's where Forte is supposed to help as an offensive coach.
